I purchased two packages of Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts to make Christmas desserts. Both packages shrunk so much the crust barely covers half way up the pie plate. Here I am in a time crunch with no time to make homemade pie crusts, which is why I went with pillsbury to begin with! Also the taste isn’t the same. Why would you change a near perfect, dependable product to this cardboard tasting, shrinking, mess of a crust? I will not purchase again. Thanks for ruining my Christmas desserts. Pillsbury Execs, enjoy your catered meals! Merry Christmas!

I have been using these crusts for decades and my pies always came out excellent. Even if I use flour (as I always did) or now spray with Pam the bottom crusts always stick to the pan and I need to soak and scrape to get it out. Very disappointed in your product and will not be buying until you go back to the original recipe.

Im a red seal jorneyman chef for over 26 years. this is complete garbage. tried to roll it out and it stuck together and tore in multiple pieces. Followed the directions. went straight to the garbage. STAY AWAY!!!! waste of money and time. what a joke. I will be posting this review on every other site I can find.

Come on Pillsbury! You used to be better than this! I have used these pie crusts for years and was always happy with them. In the past few years they have slowly gone downhill: Pie crusts got smaller, crusts are tough and an overall disappointment. It saddens me to say that I would no longer recommend this product.

I recently purchased your pie crust which I have used numerous times over the years and never experienced an issue like this before. The crust was dry and crumbly and basically was useless. I’m a loyal customer but this was very disappointing. I have pictures of the product, the bar code , the date and packaging if you want to see what I had to deal with.

I use to like the roll out pie crusts but I have bought my last box. you have changed something and now the pie crust shrinks terribly. even if you out dried beans in the crust when browning it please change your recipe back. thank you. Kathy Pettit

I was going to make 2 Quiches today 11/22/25 for tomorrows brunch when the in-laws arrive. I bought the 2 pie crusts that expire Dec 19, 2025. Both were very hard to unroll meaning that they stuck to itself. 1 was a total loss and could not be used because it was all in pieces. the 2nd was in half pieces and I used some of the first to cover the gaps. I never in my 30 years of baking had any problems with your piecrust until now. Quality is very sad.

Always great to get this large box of 8 pastry dough pieces! Have to keep an eye out cuz they go quickly around Thanksgiving & hopefully will have more as we approach Xmas. They can be frozen til you need them if you’re lucky enough to find them before they’re out of inventory.

These are super convenient. Individual rolls of pie pastry suitable for sweet or savory pies. You just thaw the roll, and then unroll onto your pie plate fill and top with another roll, cut your steam/vent holes egg wash or not, sprinkle with dusting sugar, or not. Cut them into strips and lattice the top, whatever! Super.

I am continually frustrated that when I pre-bake the pie crust, the upper part of the sides shrink away from the top most edge of the crust in spots and I have to throw it out. I make fruit pies and there cannot be a whole in the crust or the juices run under the crust and form a glue making it impossible to get the pie out of the pan. This has happened on numerous occasions. I have tried to smooth it out, reshape it, even make it thicker in spots to prevent this from happening and nothing works.
