[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first time user I never used a generator earlier and luckily I used this right in the hurricane season and was able to get the most out of it. Just followed the user manual carefully and followed the instructions. It’s easy to start 212cc has good power and I tried using it for for my freezer in the garage and lamps and electric grill for testing and it worked well. Easy transferring. Has a handle and wheels.Not too loud. The fuel tank is good size for the whole night . Best for campers if you can handle the sound.It has fuel on of switch for safety and choke . I definitely feel this can save us from winter storms and outages. You can check the oil level easily. This is very good if you want to power your appliances for 10hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator was fairly easy to put together, the wheels roll this generator around with ease also handle makes it very easy to help wheels move. I love this product is very portable, this generator looks to be very heavy duty. This generator has a generous amount of 3 prong plugs, that have a rubber cover to keep these plugs in great condition when not in use. It has a hour meter which is pretty awesome to let you know your aproximate running time. This generator is very easy to start and can be transported in vehicle if needed. This product is definately great if there is a emergency and you need light etc. This generator is very well made of hard metals and hard plastics, all bolts hold parts securely in place. I love the directions are written clearly on generator no fumbling through thousands of pages, it has everything from dangers to warnings and pictured instructions how to properly function device. You can also visibly see what every button and switch is for so there is no confusion. This generator is brightly colored on top so I can definately spot this generator in my garage with no stress or searching. I used generator for a t.v and a couple lights and it worked great had a long runtime and was very surprised how much poewr this generator has. I am very happy with this product I would definately recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first, the handle and the wheels are an extreme plus for maneuvering this baby around. My husband is the main user of this but if he's not home I know that I can handle it. It has a very powerful motor that allows us to use multiple tools at one time and not have to worry about a drop in the power. Another benefit, it starts up with one pull (I love that)! The noise consistency is at a medium level, there is no smell and it ran smoothly throughout multiple projects. having 120/240 volts are a fantastic feature along with other amenities such as, hour/minute display, ac breaker and the fuel gauge. I expect this will last is a very long time!

I just purchased the GP7500E for emergency backup for our house. We experience several power outages during the winter. This is my first purchase of a portable generator. It was easy to assemble. I added oil and gas, turned on the fuel, set the choke, pushed the start button and it started right away. It even comes with a battery charger. This will be the perfect back up power for us. It is a little louder than I had hoped but, we can get over that when the first outage happens and we have power in the house. It is connected to a manual transfer panel and the change from hydro to back up is very easy to accomplish. Come on winter storms!!

Just bought this generator yesterday for use as a backup power supply. This product is well built and will fit my needs perfectly. Assembled quickly using the included "Quick Start" guide, added oil and gas- hit the button and it started right up! Not looking forward to a power outage but happy to have this generator to keep everything running in my house if there is an outage.

I bought my Generac RS8000E because a friend of mine said if you want a quality lasting Generator. Then Generac is the one you want. He said the quality goes in before the name goes on. I liked that, & I like the electric starter, large fuel capacity & long run time. At 8,000 watts It has more than enough wattage to run our home. It's easy to move around and it's nice to know it's there when I need it. Our power went off for 4 days this Aug 11th, 2020 from the big storm that went threw the Midwest. That's not going to happen to my family again. Thanks Roger

Bought this Generator used with 100 hours in it (4 days of use) got a great price and looks and works like new! I can run everything in house, all lights, electric stove (not oven), heat (furnace) & hot water heater. Haven't tried to run the central air unit yet but the heat and hot water is more important, anyway I ran everything with no hesitation or strain on generator. I gave it a 4 on features because I wish it had a voltage meter on it otherwise all 5's! Full tank of gas you should get 8+hours run time with everything I described above, I Love this Generator and now ready for any outage, may not need for 3 years but will be ready when it happens.

I bought this GP8000E to replace an older other brand with lesser capacity. It starts instantly and performs wonderfully but on day two I moved it on my trailer and after it had experienced a few bumps on the road I discovered that the fragile welds on the axle brackets had broken and bent on both sides. To properly weld them the unit had to be laid on each side resulting in oil spill etc. It was disappointing to see a unit with so much quality in other areas to fail on something so simple.

Bought this product as emergency back-up generator for home to provide power to refrigerator/freezer and well during outages. Excellent value and dependability. Will upgrade to home standby generator next year to power whole home and move this to garage for powering tools.

This generator has great power runs well when it's on but every day you have to jump start it because there isn't a alternator that charges the battery when it's on. It's a hassle trying to always make sure the battery has enough juice to start the generator. If not your out of luck.
