I was able to get this generator on sale. So I was able to purchase a larger one than originally intending to buy. It has all the features I need in a portable generator.
It was easy to assemble and it started right up after adding fuel. I have not had to use it yet for emergency power but it should be able to handle all of our basic needs.

This product was easy to finish putting together. Directions fur using this generator were clear and easy to understand. The electric start works like a charm. The only slightly negative was the extra increase in price just to get the electric start.

Great back up

This generator is all that the advt. said about it. It arrived on time and truck driver even offered to take the cardboard packing back.
It was simple to put together and the directions on the box were a big help too.I put it together wheels and handle, put the oil in and it started right up. The battery does not charge when it is running so a battery maintainer should at least be mentioned in the ads. I bought one soon after. Thanks PED good job!

Generac Generator

bought the gp7500e to replace a manual start generator. at 72 many times i could not start a manual start.this is a backup for power failures. runs everything needed with a manual transfer switch.starts instantly only concern is it has external charger- does not charge battery by running generator. charger is included.

great product

Third generator I have tried, this one is a winner....hold 5th wheel and enough for all my power tools for construction project on land without electric. Always starts like a champ..runs really quiet with good run time....only thing I would like to see is an adapter to permit larger gas tank for longer run time..........

Solid Generator

Retired my older Generac for this newer more powerful generator that was on sale. We love how easy it starts and the nicer panel lets you monitor output. There is now plenty of power for our emergency situations. If you don't have a generator or are wanting to upgrade, then this is your baby.

More power for your needs.

Turned it on and no electric powe on all the outlet. Pressed the circuit breaker still no power. Got a pencil a pushed harder and got power. Those buttons have to be pushed in deeper than I would have expected . Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. We have been lucky, haven't lost power yet.

Easy start

This generator performs very well. I really like the fact that the 240 volt plug has a real circuit breaker rather than the pop out type. Makes a big difference in hot weather. The only thing I don't like is that it does not charge the battery when running. After multiple starts you have to charge it with a charger.

Overall a very good product.

Generac GP7500E performs as noted in sales literature. Purchased as temporary backup house power. Test run confirmed this unit runs minimum house appliances (2 split aircon units, refrigerator, tv, WiFi, house receptacles and lights). It is a bit loud, but appears to be quite fuel efficient.

Works as advertised.

It runs good and the hurricane is over and I will store it until the next one hits and some poor people need power and I will hook it up for them as I did this time. Hope it works the. As a retired Millwright I have stored it with all precautions needed to use it then.

This is a good product, I hope it last for years!

I bought this new generator new in the box for our deer camp. We unboxed it and added the oil and clean gasoline and started it. It was gushing gas out of the carb so we had to shut it down. When we called Menards to bring it back for an exchange they said that they don't take them back and we had to bring it to a certified repair shop that was 75 miles away from our camp. Needless to say, we didn't have a generator for deer season because the repair shop was booked. When I picked it up the owner said that the carb was full of gunk and that he couldn't even charge Generac for the repair because it was a fuel issue. how could that be possible when it was brand new out of the box? I am very disappointed that we have a generator that could be a lemon and the repair shop didn't get paid!
