Living in Florida where hurricane season is so unpredictable this generator is a must! The only downside is doesn't have a 220volt outlet for wells. It's quiet for generator and will come in handy when the power goes out.

However, the wheels and handle are handier than a shirt pocket and make it so easy to move! I give 8/10 on noise level its standard for a generator and not super noisy! Plenty of plug ins you could plug in a house or camper! Best part its easy to start so I can do this without my husband being home when those winter storms hit!

after purchasing a different brand and having problems right out of the box with both products I bought this generac portable generator with a generic transfer switch and having it installed by a licensed electrician and approved by my local county all systems are go fortunately have not needed to use it this winter yet but I've had a generac in the past that served me very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generac is one of the best brands of generators in the market! The GP4000 Dual Fuel 49 ST is a great choice for a portable generator. On our last storm our power went out and the GP4000 was able to handle the power to my refrigerator. I also was able to keep my families phones charged. With this generator you have two fuel options, gas or propane. Which is perfect for on the go! I used gas to run it and it was super easy to fill! I am beyond pleased with this generator!

Easy to move around and transport, not overly heavy. Is a dependable unit and had no issues at all. Easy to install parts for wheels, handle and legs. My 10yr old put it all together and filled it with the supplied oil. I highly recommend a generac system for all your needs. Generac even makes whole home systems for if you loose power. We will be looking into purchasing one of those for our home.

bought the gp7500e to replace a manual start generator. at 72 many times i could not start a manual start.this is a backup for power failures. runs everything needed with a manual transfer switch.starts instantly only concern is it has external charger- does not charge battery by running generator. charger is included.

It's heavy duty and useful for periodic outages and is needed to keep my fridges running to keep my perishables items. I'm glad this one is dual fuel; gasoline and propane and that is much appreciated. It's fairly loud as expected of a power generator but we keep it far away with a long extension cord. Not an issue with noise. One of those things where you don't realize you need it until you really do. Definitely a must have if you are worried about keeping your items in the fridge fresh during power outages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable generator will work in a pinch if there is a power outage. It's easy to use, easy to move, and has enough output to power most appliances. Buyers should understand that generator won't be able to power multiple major appliances, but you can power a refrigerator or freezer just fine! The GP5500 runs on unleaded gasoline and has a run time of about 10hrs. It was easy to assemble and took about 20mins to put on the handle, wheels, and rubber feet. I've only put about 4hrs of time on it so far and it has worked great. Overall, if there is a major power outage, you can count on this generator to function when you need it.

It's made cooking and lighting up my campsite so much easier and more enjoyable. Whether I'm running a small cooktop, powering up lights, or charging gear, it handles everything smoothly without missing a beat. What I really love is that it's propane-powered — no need to lug around extra gas cans or deal with messy refueling. That alone makes it so much more convenient and travel-friendly. The setup is super simple, and it runs quietly compared to most generators I've used. It's lightweight, efficient, and perfect for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. For the price, this generator is absolutely worth it. It's reliable, comfortable to use, and ideal for an outdoorsy person like me who values both convenience and performance.

This was a warranty replacement for my 3300. I removed and applied thread lock compound to all the fasteners because of the previous generator failure. This new one works as it should. I don't like the handle because it collapses when trying to push generator backwards.
