We just purchased the GP7500E. Assembly took about twenty minutes and was simple. After adding the oil and gas, I pressed the start button and it was running in seconds. I have only ran it for about ten minutes so far. It is a little louder than I expected but nothing I can't deal with. It is piece of mind to know if the electricity goes out our essentials are covered.

I have a pull start which neither I or my wife can start. We always have to call our son to get it started. I decided to look for an electric start unit after looking at many different units and reading reviews, we got the Generac GP75002E. All I can say is, it's a great unit with all the power we'll ever need and at a fare price. Don't have to wait for others to get here anymore whenever we have a power outage. I would recommend the Generac units to anyone.

A lot of features for the money! This unit delivers emergency power for our whole house, except for the oven and dryer. With it, freeers and refrigerators have enough amps to start their compressors, something smaller generators do not! Also, It has overheating shutdown, which is a great reliability feature. The only problem we’ve had so far is with the battery start. the terminals on the battery come loose way to easily. An inexpensive alternative to the permanent generators, which can easily run over $10000 installed. It is sad that we have a need for this technology, when our parents had cheap reliable energy. And it all could of been avoided.

My wife and I purchased the GP7500E this year for use in emergency power situations after a great deal of research. We moved into a hurricane prone area af ew years ago, and were without power for several days after Irene with a one year old in the house. Since we're on well water, it was a miserable few days! Never again... The GP7500E was easy to setup for the first time, except for one small thing. Strangely, the manual called for 1L of oil, and provided a single bottle, but I found that it required close to 1.5 L in order to fill the engine crankcase appropriately. In any case, I was amazed how quickly the generator started at the push of a button. It runs like a top! Now my family is better prepared for the next ice storm or hurricane thanks to Generac.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came at just the time I needed it, we had a bad storm and lost power for a while, and i got a chance to us it! I'm impressed, it did it's job!! It was so easy to put together, the instructions were clear cut, and I'm overall impressed with it. If I had any qualms, i would say it's a little pricy for me, but I'm so very thankful I now have one. It's a good product and I would recommend.

Solid performer after fixing battery issue. The battery died after 6 months and would not hold a charge. After installing a new battery and a disconnect so the battery no longer had a drain on it, I also installed a motorcycle style trickle charger. It now works perfectly and the battery holds a charge. I keep the battery disconnected until it's time to use it. It is now a perfect generator after the $50 upgrade. Too bad Generac did make the improvements in the factory because it does take a certain amount of expertise and engineering to correct the problem but is doable if you have the right tools. I will attach some photos at a later date.

Purchased on the day hurricane Sandy arrived. I ran it for 12 straight days without a problem. I only turned it off to change the oil 3 times. Very well made and dependable. A bit noisy but most gas generators are. Only knock is that the gas gauge stopped working after 2 days.

I bought this unit for a backup power source. Do to my electric company not being the most reliable to repair outages. The unit was delivered and I set it up within a 1/2 hour. Fired right up. I like the fact it has an hour meter to let me know when maintenance is needed. Electric start is nice also has a pull starter if needed.

Being a senior citizen,I needed less complicated products. This generator is exactly what I needed for me to maintain. Not as heavy as some and makes it easier for me to move it without help.Coming from an area with frequent storms causing power outages, this is just right for what I need..

I bought 2 of these after Hurricane Helene. One for me and one for my mom. My moms house used theirs and was plenty of power to run almost everything except the HVAC. Assembly was straight forward and started right up. Only used it for about 10hrs before her power came back. She was out for a total of 6 days. I never started mine because my power came back while I was picking them up lol.
