Tri fuel generator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is perfect, nice heavy duty with the ability to run gasoline, liquid propane or natural gas fuel source. It is easy to switch between settings. It is heavy but with the wheels is portable and easy to move. It definitely makes noise, but to be expected with the size of generator and it’s tolerable. Perfect for emergency/power outages, job sites/ tools and camping. Well worth the investment if looking for generator, especially with the tri fuel option!!

Quality, Portable Power!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a beast- in the best way! Its quality and I love the rugged wheels it comes with making it portable. The best feature is the tri fuel. It’s great to have multiple options to power it. Worst part is how heavy it is and trying to get the wheels attached.

Must have for hurricane season!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TriFuel Generator by Generac is going to come in very handy come hurricane season. Living in central Florida, a generator is a must have! This one runs on natural gas, gasoline and propane. We tried it first with propane and it started right up with the battery start, and it quickly shut right off when we closed to valve on the propane tank. Last year there was a huge issue with finding gas after Hurricane Milton, now that we can also use propane I feel so much more prepared!

Co2 sensor issues

Love the product ,i purchased this generator right after a recent storm .it ran really well and then started giving an error on the co2 sensor. I now need to take it to an authorized repair shop. Strange because the generator was out in the open .it was only 1 day after purchase

Terrible warranty/parts service

I have had this machine for about two years. I am giving Generac one star because their customer service and warranty repair is very poor. I was not able to acquire a warranty part from the factory. My dealer was not able to acquire the warranty part from the factory. I could only find one repair shop that was willing to do warranty work for portable Generac, generators, and they took six months to repair my machine because Generac did not quickly supply them with the warranty part that they needed to repair my machine.

Great one pull generator.

I bought this after a hurricane last fall when my other generator acted up. Its a nice generator, starts on first pull. Was able to run freezers, refrigerators and coffee maker :). The only nuisance was the GFI. I had a refrigerator that kept setting it off so I couldn't power it. I understand it is code and safety, but when you need a generator its usually bad weather and GFI's don't like bad weather. All in all a great little generator.

Reliable, easy to operate, and so versatile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We own a cabin in North Carolina that was affected by hurricane Helene. Our power has gone out multiple times since and the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Generator is my new go-to source of confidence. What I appreciate most about this generator is its versatility. It can run on gas, propane, or natural gas, providing great flexibility when fuel options are limited. The maintenance process is straightforward, thanks to clear instructions, and LOVE the electric start. It makes it a breeze to operate. The COsense® safety feature adds an extra layer of peace of mind, knowing that it’s equipped with advanced carbon monoxide detection. And with its 7.5-gallon fuel tank, this generator can provide over 10 hours of runtime at a moderate load. In conclusion, the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Generator is a wise investment for any household. With its impressive 12,500 starting watts and 9,500 running watts (when fueled by gas), it’s more than powerful enough to keep our home running smoothly during an outage. Considering its size, the noise level is surprisingly reasonable and doesn’t disrupt our daily lives. I’m incredibly grateful for this reliable and versatile generator.

Amazing power for the whole house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GP9500E Tri-Fuel Portable Generator is an absolute powerhouse! I needed a reliable backup power solution for my home, and this generator exceeded all expectations. The ability to run on gasoline, propane, **and** natural gas gives me incredible flexibility, especially during extended outages. The 9,500 starting watts (7,500 running watts) provide more than enough power to keep my essentials running smoothly, including the fridge, AC, and even power tools when needed. The electric start is a game-changer—no more struggling with pull cords! Plus, the runtime is impressive, especially on propane. Build quality is solid, and the noise level is reasonable for its size. Setup was straightforward, and the included wheels make it easy to move around. If you're looking for a dependable, versatile generator, the GP9500E is worth every penny. Highly recommend!"* --- **Key Features Highlighted:** ✅ **Tri-Fuel Capability** (Gas/Propane/Natural Gas) ✅ **Powerful Performance** (9,500W starting, 7,500W running) ✅ **Electric Start** + Quiet Operation ✅ **Portable & Durable**

General saved us during Helene's aftermath

I bought this in the aftermath of Helene devastating western North Carolina. We needed a larger generator that could operate several without needing to unplug items so as not to overload it. My Generac GP 6500 had no problems carrying a much larger load as we were without power 11 days. I was able to use a medical CPAP at night without worry as the refrigerators and freezers and lights were able to work with it and also charge phones and other necessities while operating as close to normal during that time. I've used it during several power outages since. A great generator to have.

A BEAST for hurricane season!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in Central Florida, and unfortunately having a generator has become a necessity for the months of August-October. We’ve spent too many days post-storm without power, losing both groceries and our minds (from heat). With the hurricanes seemingly getting worse each year, we finally decided it’s time to invest. We jumped on a Generac due to the reliable name brand and reputable quality. Needless to say, the recommendations received from family were good ones because we’re seriously impressed with this thing, so much so that our neighbor saw it delivered and came over to also rave about the Generac brand. One of my favorite features is that this generator can take propane, gasoline, or natural gas. It’s pretty strong and can power appliances, fans, cell phones (imperative), internet, and other small conveniences to keep children occupied. We also plan to invest in a window AC so that we can still have a bit of cold air in at least one room! Just having all of the necessities accessible makes a scary situation just a tad bit more tolerable. As with most generators, this one is HEAVY so be prepared with a plan for moving it prior to getting the wheels on (delivery slip said 275lbs!) We needed three adults to lift and move it, but the wheels definitely help once installed. All parts are heavy-duty, yet easy to operate, but just be aware that this is quite big and quite heavy. That’s understandable with such a powerful unit. If you’re in a hurricane prone area like me, this is one of those purchases that you hope you never need, but will be pleased when you do need it! It’ll definitely make the post-storm recovery just a little bit easier.
