It gave me about 5 minutes to shut everything down. I probably could have at least doubled that, but once I realized the power in the rest of the house went out, (ceiling fan) I initiated the shutdown process. But I couldn't turn off the alarm until I turned the unit completely off. Then had to restart everything hours later when it came back on. With the stereo turned up I didn't hear the alarm until I had turned everything off. Then I thought you just needed to hit the power button, but I had to hold it in for a couple of seconds for it to turn off the alarm that went off every few minutes. My APC that this replaced, I could just hit one button and the unit stayed on while the alarm was off.

Significantly smaller than the old one I replacement. No problems since I purchased it

These are much smaller than before. Battery performance seems like a few minutes

Compact size, like that it has a mute option and the battery life indicator

Love this except can't get it to stop dinging when unplugged. If the power goes out is that all it's supposed to do?

I gave this a 4 star rating because it did not have a DSL port. Otherwise the unit work great, and I have no problem with any electronics connected to it.
