Power when you have no power

I like the slender shape of the battery backup. I like the added feature of the USB-A and USB-C. I’m loving the display that this backup provide. I also like that the plug is able to be flush agains the outlet. I love all the additional surge protected outlets. What I really like about this backup is that it will protect my sewing machine Incase we have a power surge. I love the added protection.

Great value

Wow, this is a heavy duty piece of equipment. I really like the size, weight, and features of this unit. In addition, this sells for $150 elsewhere but is only $100 at Sam’s?!?! Great value! I recommend.

Great UPS

This is a good value and works as advertised. They are great for a home office. I also use one in theliving room for my home theater, it works great for that and gives you a chance to shut everything down if the power goes out and keeps the power even if there is a surge or brownout.

UPS Backup

Plenty of outlets. USB ports on the front. Leaves outlets available for other items rather than plugging in a USB charger. Like the LCD on the front.

Great

So far so good! This battery backup has lots of ports which is always something you need. It seems to be well built as it is very heavy. Fortunately, I have not lost power. Therefore I have not fully tested the capabilities of the back up, but I’m hopeful it will work.

A good investment for your electronic components.

This battery backup with surge protection is very informative about the incoming power, along with its output power. The unit is well built with quality material and is easy to check its status. I highly recommend it.

Nice functionality, disappointing battery capacity

Functionality is as expected, and nice, but not sure it holds 9Ah as spec'ed. Either that or I got a bad unit: Using it as a power bank during hurricane Milton to recharge an old phone through USB depleted over 50% of the fully charged UPS. The phone is 7yrs old with an original 3300mAh battery, prolly only half that capacity today. Mind you, this is a UPS (and used as such) not a power bank. But 9Ah should still be 9Ah.

Plugs on back need to be spread out

I thought this was an upgrade from my older horizontal unit that died. Um, no! Rethink based on design. The function may work great but didn’t even get that far. The plugs on the back are all clumped together (no extra room on any of them). Because of that, on the surge and backside, I could only plug in one of my items which plugs sideways. The bottom plug would have been open too (that makes 2/5 plugs I could use), but because of the size of my plug being a box, I couldn’t even use the bottom plug because the unit would not have sat flush on the floor then. So… I successfully could use 1/5 of the backup plugs and that’s the whole reason I bought it. Far cheaper surge only protectors. I ended up returning the unit and will buy another top mount plug with space between plugins.

Hello Mh. Based on your needs with that rather large plug it does sound like that this unit may not suit your needs alone. Though not available at Sam's Club, we offer several other UPS with different plug configurations, many have a single outlet on the battery side that is a little separated from the rest of the bank to help accommodate oversized connections. I encourage you to check out our website at https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/ups/intelligent-lcd/ and explore what other options may be available.

Waste of time and money, Low backup time.

Waste of money. Does not hold even couple minutes and it shutting of after power cut off. It’s not like over loaded with devices. One PC with WiFi modem and a printer. Total waste of money and time.

Hi Chad, we’re sorry to hear about your experience. The UPS should provide backup power during an outage when the connected load is within its capacity. One thing we’d recommend checking is whether the printer is connected to a battery backup outlet, as some printers can draw a significant amount of power and may cause the UPS to overload or shut down when switching to battery power.

We’d be happy to help determine what’s happening and make sure the UPS is operating properly. Please contact CyberPower Technical Support at 1-877-297-6937 so our team can assist with troubleshooting.

I got a lemon/malfunctioning unit

Output voltage is about 90volts. I have tried contacting the manufacturer about the problem but its impossible to get a person on the phone. Also, the front USB-A/USB-C ports don't work. Never have. It wasn't until after the latest power outage that I went to investigate why the fan I have attached to it, sounded slow. Turns out it's always only output 90ish volts (measured on a multimeter).
