Wish it have space for transformer connectors

I bought this UPS unit because for the same price, other units in different stores only offered half the capacity. However, it has the same problem that other units have, the plug spaces were designed for connectors that are not transformers. This limits the amount of electronic equipment that can be plugged in. It is also heavy, but manageable. I use it to protect my entertainment equipment (TV, cable, DVD, soundbar, etc). The included USB A and C ports are quite useful.

Full featured battery backup

These are great battery backup units. You are getting a lot for the price- higher wattage and VA rating than other similarly priced units and the USB-C charging port is a nice addition. This is far better than the typical power strip style battery backup.

It will brick on you with an E21 error code

I bought three of these at Sam's Club. All three died with Error Code 21. CyberPower replaced two under warranty, but it can cost half the price of a new unit to ship back to them at your expense. A third unit died, and CyberPower initially refused to replace under warranty because I had plugged a laser printer into the Surge-Only outlets, a very dubious cop-out, but they eventually agreed to replace the third unit too. Two of the replacements have died with E21 errors. The third replacement unit has not yet been unpacked, but I expect it won't last. All six units are less than two years from original purchase date. The problem appears to be that the CyberPower motherboard cannot withstand surges from the Georgia Power Company. The surge hits and the unit dies with E21 -- even when you don't have much attached to it, and nothing plugged into the Surge Only outlets. Once you get an E21, if the unit is unplugged from the wall, power goes out, there's no backup. Your computer just abruptly turns off and you lose data. These CyberPower units have a defective design that cannot withstand an electrical surge. It becomes, basically, a non-surge power strip.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter an E21 error.<br /><br />We did want to clarify one important point regarding laser printers. Although they may seem like a relatively small load, laser printers produce very large momentary inrush current during normal operation. Those current spikes can place significant stress on a UPS, which is why they are not recommended for connection to the unit.<br /><br />An E21 error is not an indication that the UPS is unable to withstand normal utility power fluctuations. Following the recommended connection guidelines helps ensure the UPS operates as intended and provides reliable protection for supported equipment.

Best Battery Backup out there!

Outstanding Battery Backup. I have had several backups in my offices. This far exceeds any previous Backups I've had. Best price compared to prices by other Vendors. Arrived on time and in good condition.

Very good UPS for the price.

Works as expected; however I wish it had a Coax surge protection in and out. Also, the on/off switch is so bright I had to put two layers of blue painters' tape over it so that it wouldn't bother me at night. The unit is in our bedroom.

Good Surge Protections.

My daughter has a lot of power glitches where she lives. One circuit breaker tripped every time because they have a lot of equipment on that circuit. Replacing the breaker did not help. if the power stayed off for 10 or more seconds, the breaker did not trip. Installing the CyberPower Battery Backup w/ Surge Protection solved the problem.

Those Rare but Disastrous Interruptions are gone!

Where I live in Tucson, AZ, we get the brief power interruptions; probably the power company switching from one source to another. It's enough to take all the computing and Internet equipment down and then I wait for everything to start back up again. NO MORE!

Satisfied so far!

I haven’t had the chance to test this much but the quality seems great so far. I have an 85’ QLED, modem, router and Soundbar hooked up to it to protect it if I use a portable generator. I unplugged it from the power and it said I had 47 minutes of power left which seemed impressive for all it has connected to it. Better price than anywhere else too.
