Have used it for 4 months and it irritated me every single time I used it. I cannot believe I bought this poorly designed unit. I wanted something bigger for air frying, and was so convinced this would be great that I gave away my original air fryer that still worked fine, just wasn't big enough. This is so clunky, especially for toast. Always had to turn the knob past 20 minutes and then back, and those knobs are really hard to operate with senior citizen hands! Yesterday I tried to make toast for breakfast and waited and waited. This morning, I again attempted to toast an English muffin when I realized it was barely heating at all. A quick test of its functions tells me that it no longer is effectively heating. This will go in the garbage and I am leaving this review in the hopes no one else gets taken in by this. Sam's Club should take this entirely out of its stock.

I bought this a week ago. After reading the reviews. What a disappointment. First time I used it I placed the tray on the position suggested, darn thing burnt through. The timing button is so stiff without any groves for grip, that makes it near impossible to turn on or Off. I would definitely not suggest this as a good purchase. I would have returned, however the recycle truck was arriving and I needed to get the packaging out. Bad move now I’m stuck with this piece of junk.

We’ve only had our oven maybe 10 days, but everything I’ve tried in it, we have liked. My only complaint is that the drip tray is stained already. We tried our best to keep it clean, but it has gotten harder and harder to clean each time. Thank goodness you never cook or eat off of it.

We were hoping to replace our current air fryer (another powerxl, but sorta shaped like an egg) with this one because it gave us other functionality (pizza, oven, broiler) along with air frying. Our current air fryer was great, it really crisped up fries, tots, and other frozen foods. We even used it for homemade "fried" chicken. Our kids used it like crazy, and we came to rely on it for a great many things we wanted to get nice and crispy. This new unit seems to take twice as long (even on the highest temp 450) and still not get that nice golden brown we got from our previous one. I can't tell if its defective or just a poor design. Unfortunately we got rid of the packaging and now feel stuck with it. I've never owned a toaster oven before, so maybe as one of those, it's ok, but it's NOT a good air fryer, pass this one up.

This is my first air fryer I have ever owned. One thing that concerns me is how hot it gets. You have to remove it from under the cabinets because they started to get scorched. Secondly you cannot grill more than 2 things of meat because they do not brown.

The test of an air fryer is whether or not it can fry chicken in a timely manner. This is nothing more than a glorified toaster oven. As far as toast it took longer in this oven than it doesn't my pop up.. In my old air fryer it takes 17 minutes to fry chicken. In this I cooked the chicken longer because the skin did not look crispy. I cooked it for 25 minutes, and it still came out not completely cooked and without a crispy skin. Very disappointed, I was hoping this would combine a couple of appliances and make a little room.

Purchased because it was cheap for all the functions it came with. The smoke ended up being unbearable and would often make you not even want to cook in it. Took way too long to airfry. Also it stopped getting hot at all and was blowing cool air. Thank God I purchased the 2 year warranty because it died shortly after the 90 days which it was guaranteed money back. Only thing with warranty they try to replace it for a new one so fight for your money back this sucks didn't want it again.

We loved this product when we first bought it and used it on a daily basis. It worked less than 3 months when the heating element went out. I do not still have the receipt because we have never had this problem with a toaster oven before, they usually last 7-10 years before needing replaced. Live and learn.

I received this product as a gift. Wasn’t to sure how to cook in it so I referred to the book. When cooking my chicken nuggets and French fries they did not turn out. The second time I used it to cook some more chicken tenders. Bust again. So the other day I had a steak I was wanting to cook so I thought I would give it a try. It have my house so Smokey and every smoke alarm going off the entire time the steak cooked so I finally shut it off. My steak was med rare when I took it out and it had only been for 6 min. Every time I cook in it my dog hides for fear the smokes alarms will go off and they usually do. I pre washed pre heated everything in advance. Anyone else having these issues? I love my original air frier it worked awesome. This one is a big disappointment.

Bought this less than 1 year ago. Timer knob has progressively gotten harder to turn. Does not accurately time anymore. Toast function basically no longer works. Warranty is useless as after 60 days returning the unit requires the consumer to ship the unit back to the company TriStar products at my expense. No way I am spending $50 or more to send this piece of junk back to TriStar. Terrible purchase on my part. I should have read the warranty after opening the box and sealed it back up and returned to Sam's Club.
