Very happy with generator so far. Initial set up instructions were clear and easy to follow. Generator started easily and powered a few test loads with no problem. Noise level was a bit higher than expected, which is only reason for rating of 4 instead of 5.

I bought this Dec. 26 2022 Very, very pleased with this generator. The generator started on the 3rd pull. Very smooth and reasonably quiet. Has a lot of good features on it. Francis Breed

I needed a new generator for the occasional power outages in my rural locale. I bought this generator because of its good combination of compact size to power ratio and because of the electric start (with recoil backup) that would make my life easier.

I purchased the first one and it came with the generator cover smashed like i saw on other reviews. it was strange because the box was not really damaged. I took a chance and ordered another one. The new one came today and it was not damaged. This one did have oil in the box and on the frame of the generator though so i thought maybe the oil they sent had leaked but it did not, must have just been where they drained it from the factory. I put the legs and wheels on (very simple) and oil and gas, started on about the 3rd pull. Seems to run fine, i have high hopes that it will do good. I have not really tried to run anything on it except for a shop vac just to make sure it works. Will test it out a little this weekend though.I like the appearance and the weight. Cant beat the price on this either, hopefully this will be a good purchase.

I bought this generator today. I’m in Kansas and a large winter storm is approaching. This summer we went 72-hours without power. Lost everything in the fridge Ang freezer. With this generator I can power fridge gas furnace or whatever. It’s heavy but manageable once assembled.

Instant electric start, quick as turning a light switch on. Would have given five stars if owners manual was better. Directions was to add oil 'til in operating zone of dip stick.When I got it to the operating zone the full quart was consumed, so dump the full quart in and skip all the repeated checks of dip stick. Could not find capacity in specs. Over all quality of gen. is very good. Especially like the fuel shut off valve between gas tank and carburetor as this allows bowl to be completely emptied out preventing build up of carbon in the jets, a problem I had on my old gen.

I bought this generator after my 22 year old generator finally died. I cannot believe how upgraded generators have become with all their nice features. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but from what I've read in the users manual it will suit my needs to run my household in a power outage. Thank you

I BOUGHT THIS TO TAKE TO A RACE WHERE WE HAD TO HAVE OUR OWN WAY TO POWER OUR CAMPER ,AND FOR THE PRICE I WAS WONDERING HOW WELL IT WOULD DO.PLEASNTLY SUPPRIZED AT HOW WELL IT RAN AND PROVIDED ALL THE JUICE WE NEEDED.IT WAS LOUDER THAN I EXPECTED BUT NOT CRAZY LOUD. THE GAUGE THAT SHOWED POWER OUTPUT AND HOURS RAN IS A REAL PLUS.

After doing much research, I chose this model. What sold me was one review from someone who had worked on generators for five years. He also recommended getting a Heavy Duty L5-30P to (3) 5-20R Power Cord to help distribute the current to different parts of your home to even out the current and to avoid overheating one electric line, which can be a potential fire hazard. It was expensive but a very good investment and peace of mind. Use the "WGen Generator Quick Start Guide" to assemble the generator. It gives detailed step-by-step instructions, whereas the owners manual is very vague. Follow through with the instructions to run the engine with no load for one hour as recommended to prime the engine. Be sure to add a gasoline stabilizer for long-term storage. Cons: The only downside is that it is a little hard to fill the oil, even with the funnel that is provided. The fill plug is located almost out of view near the bottom of the engine. Not a big issue. Pros: Since there are no men in our household, I wanted a generator with a pull start and electric start. The engine started immediately with no hesitation. It has a good, strong sound, ready to handle any load. The handle bar makes it easy to haul the 200-lb generator outside. I've had the generator for a few months and am still waiting for the next power outage. But, I know I can rely on this it for many decades.

Everything needed was included in the box. In less than 30 minutes I had the generator unpacked, wheels and feet installed, oil filled (supplied), filled with fuel and had it purring away. I let it run for about 15 minutes before I put it underload for the very first time. I connected our RV to the 30 amp outlet (TT-30R 120V 30A) and powered up the all the RV lights, fridge, electric water heater etc and then the air-conditioner and it worked great. I could hardly hear the generator once the AC was running. I went outside and was very happy with the noise level emitted by generator with basically everything electrical in the RV powered up and the AC running on max. It was much lighter than I expected and very easy to move about, however I would caution you to only pull the generator behind you don't try to push it with the handle or it may end up flopped over on its back (don't ask me how I know this :D ).
