Bought this generator knowing it weighed 148#, was hoping I would be able to move it where needed when the time comes. Widow lady with a bad back and this thing is so well balanced that it is no problem at all. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet, hopefully never will, but glad I have it after the last outage. I purchased this unit after the last hurricane, we lost power for over 4 days. We had to replace most of the food in the freezer. This unit will be the perfect size for our home to run the necessary things in our house if we should need it again. It also tucks away nicely in my garage corner.

It just arrived 2 days ago. Put in the oil today and hooked it up to propane and it started right up. Love the fact that it takes 3 different types of fuel so we have different options should one fuel become unavailable or might be in shortage depending on what’s going on and why we need it at the time. Much quieter than the one I had previously used during hurricane Wilma.

I bought this generator a month ago. I had very hard time firing the generator and there was a blowing sound. After a lot of attempts, it started to run, but kept shutting off. Besides all these, I should add that this is a powerful device and could light my entire ranch (excluding the electric stove and dryer).

A long overdue purchase for hurricane season. I had it shipped to my home, and it arrived damage free. I chose my WGen5300V for its Wattage, and Warranty. The price was sweet, and I love the color also lol. Set up was no problem. Putting on the wheels and rubber feet was simple. I LOVE the threaded oil funnel! The supplied spark plug tool and wrench in a pouch are a nice touch. It has the look and feel of a sturdy, quality piece of equipment. It started right up, and ran flawlessly on it's unloaded first break-in hour. It is not whisper quiet, but is not any louder than any other small generator. It sounds nice too me. I love the overhead valve engine. The second part of the break-in was also uneventful. I used my 1200w smoker to vary the load, and keep under 50% as recommended. I hope I never have to use it out of necessity, but I know it will easily handle my fridge, chest freezer, tv and fans. Also, coffee pot, and micro as needed. It gives me peace of mind knowing that up to a week or two without grid power, will be less miserable now with my WGen5300v. John

Made this purchase during Florida Tax free week. We wanted an emergency generator in case of a rogue hurricane. We were pleasantly surprised with the build quality; very sturdy and well built. Very easy to set up and start. Runs very quiet compared to other brands I've used in the past. So far, we're very happy with this purchase.

After a lot of research, I decided to go with the 5300v. The unit arrived sooner than I expected. It fired up on the second crank and ran smoothly for the break in period. I started it up two weeks later and it fired on the first pull. This will provide more than enough power to run the necessities in case of power outage.

I purchased this generator to replace a 22 year old generac. While the generac worked well for many years, it slowly, as expected, started to produce less and less amperage, and then just died. Being used to a crazy loud generator for years, starting and running this Westinghouse machine was such a pleasant surprise! Amazing how much quieter it is than the generac! Runs smooth as can be, ever under max load condition. I purchased a Westinghouse gas pressure washer last year, been loving that, so it was a natural choice to get this unit.

I bought this generator today. I’m in Kansas and a large winter storm is approaching. This summer we went 72-hours without power. Lost everything in the fridge Ang freezer. With this generator I can power fridge gas furnace or whatever. It’s heavy but manageable once assembled.
