Think unit was dropped. Frame bent and could not fold out the towing handle for moving it around. Had to unbolt it then put it back. Also air cleaner body had crack in it. Put gas in and it leaked all over the unit. The gas line hose had a hole in it where it connects to the sediment cup/shut off. Was able to clip the hose past the hole and reinstall. Too much trouble to return so will use as is. Other than the above it seem to run fine and started right up.

We bought the generator about one week ago. And the expectations go more than beyond of excellence, quality. The price is awesome in comparison with other brands. The measures are perfect for us and fit to cover all we want in home. ***** I 200% recomend this product.

This generator is quality thru & thru with more features for less money then the competition. From the the heavy duty engine & wheel kit to the little things like outlet covers & a screw in oil funnel. Clearly the best generator for the price & then some!

I purchased for powering my home when there is power outage. It seems to fit the bill, I hope not to use it until and outage, not in the awhile. Put it together in no time, hooked up battery, filled with oil provided, and gas. Started right up, and runs well as I break in the engine while not under a load. I also do construction work in areas where there is no power, it runs the equipment with no problem. Saws, compressors, lights all can be used. Light and compact so it is easy to move. construction site.

From the easy assembly to the electric start feature, this generator is a gem. I had my home electrical panel wired to switch over to a generator in the event of a power failure. I bought this in September 2020, so I was able to set it up under good weather conditions. I ran it for its break in period, then I shut off my home panel and plugged the generator into my home panel. The first thing I fired up inside the house was my oil fired hot water boiler to test my hot water heating system. It handled it like a charm. While that was running I switched on other circuits including 2 refrigerators and a microwave. It handled everything I would want to have should my power go out in the dead of winter. It has 2 30 amp power outlets, one for powering a house and the other for an RV. It also has 2 120v outlets on the generator. These outlets do not have power when the generator is supplying power to the house panel. They do have power when the unit is supplying power to an RV. Overall this generator does what I want it to.

I caught this generator on sale right after the New Year. I had been meaning to get one for some time but held off. Luckily I bought this when I did because it came in two days prior to a major storm that knocked out our power for 12 hours. I put this baby to use right away! Worked great powering our fridge and some entertainment items, with plenty of wattage left over if we needed to plug anything else in. I am so glad I bought this when I did!!! It was super easy to set up (minus some oil funnel issues I had at the start but squared it away quickly) and worked well throughout the outage, providing reliable power where it was needed.

After our deadly power outage last winter, we are determined to be ready next time. We researched the best bang for the buck, most reliable and easy to use- and with enough power to run heaters and fridge. The Westinghouse WGen5300V checked all the boxes! We just got it and it is a good size with ample outlets!

I bought this as it was similar to my neighbor's, who let me use his during the mass pwoer outages on April 29th. This one has more wattage, but for the proce, that is a good thing. I just wanted to keep my food cold in the refrigerator. It is assuring I can do much more!

I bought this about 1 month ago, yet haven't tested it out. It was bought as an "insurance policy" after the last power outage we experienced lasted 4 days. I picked this model because of it sufficient power output, battery start, and display meter for monitoring usage hours and generator output. Hopefully I will never have to use it, but hope it will work if I actually need it.

So far, it has started on the first pull every time. It is also much quieter than our old one. The pull up handle and wheels are very handy for moving it around and saves the hernia of lugging it. We haven't pulled a lot of power with it so far other than running an air compressor, but it doesn't seem to miss a beat when the compressor kicks on. I'm very pleased with our purchase!
