I recently purchased this generator because of the features. I needed a generator with a 120 / 240 volts switch. This generator not only looks great but comes with the wheels which is an extra purchase with other generators. It is perfect for my needs.

Just bought it have not used it just did a test run and it worked well. It powered our leaf blower and a heater that we used to test. Easy to move around and has a great handle to use to move it. Not fond of the gas cap took a little to get it off but figured it out. The plastic thing they gave us to put the oil in didn't flex very well and was hard to put oil in without spilling it. All in all so far very happy with it.

Purchased to have it ready for hurricane season. Easy to set up it's compact so it doesn't take up much space in the garage. It came with everything to get it going. Wheels helps to move it around which is nice. Overall satisfying with this generator.

Bought this for a back up generator for my house. When I took it out the box I was pleasantly surprised by all the features, build quality, and having all that I needed; tools for the assembly, engine oil, and even a screw-in oil funnel, to get the unit prepped and started. The unit started easily and ran effortlessly during its maiden test run. Think this is a well built generator, that I can rely and count on, when and if the power goes out.

Bought this for emergency use. Arrived quickly, but damaged (alternator cover dented + frame scratched/dented. I don't know if this is due to poor packaging or Fedex handling. I've had issues with Fedex damage on other shipments, but won't discount the possibility of packaging here too - it's a heavy item...but needs good padding to arrive intact. As far as the generator goes, setup was easy and fired up on the first pull. Hoping to need this infrequently, but feels like it'll fit the bill when needed.

The unit arrived at my door via FedEx. Like some other reviews, upon unboxing found the alternator end cap to be badly dented. Listening for noise while slowly pulling starter, then checking under the cap for any shorts or other damage all was good. Believe the damage occurred prior to being boxed as there was no damage to any of the shipping materials. Filled crankcase with the supplied oil and added recommended gasoline. Turned on fuel supply valve then let sit for a minute to prime the carburetor bowl and check for leaks, all good. Switched on engine control switch and set choke. One slow pull to find TDC, then a solid pull and the unit quickly came to life. Ran unloaded for the recommended one hour break in. At first the frequency regulation was marginal but now seems very good after the break in period. At present have run up to about half load with no issues. Good voltage regulation, no momentary glitches. Noise level is acceptable, not the absolute quietest but definitely much better than some others I have used. All in all believe this generator will work well for my emergency power needs. Will try to add to this review when I get a chance to really slam it!

this is my first generator to own, the instructions gave good information, some good details about how to prepare this generator to start. Tools needed are a 10mm socket, a long tube funnel to put in the oil and broad mouth funnel to put in the gas. Once the tires are on and the feet are attached, oil put in, the gas is cleaned up from around the mouth, I allowed the machine to set for an hour to allow the gas spills to evaporate. this machine fired right up , it was easy to set up and run. I recommend this Generator.

Bought this generator a few months back as part of an earthquake preparedness plan. It sat in the box until the recent polar plunge when I lost power for three days. I was able to unpack it and get it running in 20 minutes!! It worked like a champ and I was surprised with how little fuel it used. The electric start does not work but that could be because I need to charge the battery separately. (No instructions in the manual regarding that.) However, the manual start works perfectly. So no complaints.

Assembly was quick. Pull-start worked on first attempt. Runs more quietly than any generator I have had. Doesn't strain under load. Will hopefully provide us with back-up power for many years to come. Great Product! (New England power outages are frequent. This summer we were without power for 9 days after Tropical Storm Isaias.)

We bought in May of this year, started using 3 times a week with no problems for about three weeks, then the problems started ..first little things, the spring in the carberator sprung, the pull start assembly broke, the arm on the choke adjustment broke, little things that make it really hard for the generator to run correctly. Normal wear and tear I understand, but not replacing carberator in 3 weeks time, or pull start assembly twice in as many months and still no response from westinghouse support about the warranty that all this should be covered under ..but when the generator is 100%, it's amazingly quiet, handles well and easy to use, great on gas too! If you didn't get a lemon as I believe we have u will have a great generator
