This generator came and the only thing I had to do was put on the wheel kit (very simple). Super easy to move around with the handle and wheels. Added oil (provided) and gas then connect the battery (simple quick connect). Then push the button and it started right up. I would definitely recommend this product.

Just bought this as an emergency backup for winter. Assembled and started for recommended break in. Looks ok with a few exceptions: 1) Washer head bolts for mounting feet interfere with the foot brackets. Must deform bracket or not seat bolts fully. Careless design. 2) Printing on label for "start" and "run" icons are incorrect from instruction manual references. Right position, but incorrect icon. Not sure how this happens. 3) Must actually screw a funnel with an o-ring into the oil tank to fill oil since fill hole does not allow vertical filling access. More annoying than anything else.

Got this from Santa. Gorgeous looking machine. Started on the first try. Runs like a top, and performs beautifully. Can't wait to take it camping or to the family cabin. Hopefully I won't need it for a power outage, but I feel much better just knowing that I have a quality machine, just in case. .

I bought this unit in November 2020 and have used it several times. Minimal assembly was required, it starts very quickly and the electric start is fantastic. I keep a battery maintainer on the battery and will run the unit once a month to ensure it's ready to go.

Purchased after experiencing a four-day power outage. Many user reviews very favorable for Westinghouse gas generators. I didn't even know they manufactured them! Was considering a Champion in the same power category. However, numerous online reviews selected Westinghouse brand generators as their first choice.

I originally purchased a WGen3600 but discovered belatedly it could not connect directly to my circuit panel to provide backup house power because the little guy didn't put out 240 volts. My bad for not checking specs more closely when comparing different sizes and makes. So my new purchase is the WGen5300 that does put out 240v. I got another Westinghouse this time, rather than a competitor of comparable size, because I really like the small WGen. Like that one, the larger brother is rugged, easy to set up and operate. I especially like the electric start feature. Now, my power will never go out again.

Just assembled, added oil (challenging to fill), and gas. Appreciate screen filter on gas tank and secure fuel cap. Pressed electric start, fired up instantly, and ran flawlessly for 15 minutes. Didn’t put a load on it yet, but don’t expect a problem.

I bought this Westinghouse Generator a month ago and after looking at all the competitors this Generator fits my needs. We live in a hurricane state and this will provide our home with the ample power to my essential appliances. Refrigerator, freezer and floor fan. A quiet efficient power source that gives us piece of mind.

I purchased this generator around Christmas time to ensure that my family was prepared in case of winter storms. Have not used the generator yet, but seems sturdy and well built. Was easy to attach wheels. Like that the generator has an electric start and a pull cord as a backup.

New home owner in Florida, hurricane season is here. Didn't want to be in the dark.Price point was great. Westinghouse name closed the deal. Very easy to set up. Nice oil fill funnel they supply. No mess putting oil in.Have not run it yet. Hope I don't have to, Didn't give 5 stars because of not running it yet.
