I bought this generated to use with my 30’ camper for when i go places without electric hook-up. I haven’t had the chance to use it for a full weekend but did the front yard trial run and it seemed like more than able to keep up. It’ll also be handy if i ever loose electric at the house.

I've been looking for several months for the right generator to use while traveling in my travel trailer. I haven't been able to use this generator yet but it seems to be a very good one. I especially like that it has a remote start since I have problems with my shoulder and can't have a pull start. I can't wait to use it.

I just got this as a Christmas present. It was really easy to assemble (very little assembly required) and easy to set-up. After a few pulls of the rope, the generator started right up. It’s not as loud as some generators I’ve heard. We are thankful that the next time a storm strikes we’ll be ready.

I give it a 5 but after broken I have carb trouble are fuel trouble the gen was ok 25hour brake in trouble started after .I was getting it ready for snow storm I work with it 3 day before I call hot line the rep I talk to was very helpful and understanding offer 2or3way he could help he understudevjust what I was going through .hoping that the elect won’t go out before I can take it to a service center that was my choice the rep said he would do what ever I wonted my choice was that it was just one of those thing that happen we will get it all taken care of soon it wasn’t the gen it self just the small fuel problem I won’t to thank the rep for his help he very kind and helpful he understudy and know just what I was going through so no problem with me just one of those thing ! Purchased for hurricane power outages. I was excited to try it when our power went out after Isaias went through. I prepared by filling the oil and adding gas. It started and ran fine for a couple of hours but produced no electrical output - so I shut it down and lived with the heat and no power to our two fridges - we even went out that afternoon to buy bags of ice to try and save our food - luckily power came back on later that evening. I will now need to try and get it fixed before the next hurricane runs through our area.

Full disclosure, I have not used this generator yet. After a TON of research, this seemed to be the best option on the market. All the right hookups in the right quantities, smaller and less heavy than similar products, easy to wheel around, great option for both home back up and rv power. It also has great reviews and was a competitive price at home depot- speed right to my door for free. I can't wait until summer to use it!

I purchased the generator just days before a very hard and extended freeze in our area. On the very day that I did the preoperation service on the unit our electricity went out. I was ready! I followed the instructions and pulled the rope. It started immediately. We plugged a light and a heater into it and never felt the effects of the outage. I am quite satisfied!

It looks good with nice features like the electric start and no need for a battery charger since this unit charges as it runs just like your vehicle but even if you have to use the recoil pull option its really easy to pull n starts on about the 2nd pull so its easy enough for just about anyone to start it,not real loud either so if you have a shed or something to store n run it in you won't be bothered by noise,the digital read out is really nice feature to.

I was looking for a gennie that would run pretty much the whole house, but without breaking the bank to buy. I ran across this great W'house 5300W gennie and said "That's the one!" I ordered it and the delivery was timely. I cut the box down the sides and pretty much laid the box out flat. I read the instructions and, 30 minutes later, it was completely put together (wheels and bottom braces were the only assembly items), oil put in, gas put in, battery connected and start button pressed 3X for ~1 second each time. It fired up on the 3rd press of the start button and ran great! I let it go for about 15 minutes, then turned it off. A couple of days later, I fired it up again......1 quick press of the start button was all it took. Before this generator, I had a manual start one that I essentially had to rebuild the carburetor on to get it to start. The W'house is a tremendous improvement and the set up was the easiest I have ever experienced on any outdoor tool. Thanks!!

I recently purchased this generator. After reading the instructions and watching a video , assembly was relatively easy. It started on the second pull . I attached my extension cords and powered up 2 devices. Generator ran flawlessly and was quieter than expected. So glad I bought this Westinghouse generator.
