This was a good price for all the features you get. It was easy to set up and this model came with a wheel kit. Many others don't. It seems sturdy and is heavy, so you need wheels to be able to move it. We had to cut the box just to get it out. We haven't run it yet but did a lot of research on portable generators and this has enough power for running our refrigerator and some minor appliances during a power outage. The blue and black color looks nice too.

So just got our new Westinghouse generator. Was happy to see how easy it was to set up. Haven't used it yet but was surprised with all the features it has and safety measures. Looking forward to using it when needed. Very happy with the electric start .

I bought this generator in preparation for storm season. I've never owned a generator and everything I've heard about them made me nervous to buy. However, the clear and concise instructions accompanied with the ease of operating this equipment has given me and my family the confidence to go beyond an emergency response and even wheel it around for weekend jobs.

After doing preliminary set up work, started first pull. Currently running suggested hour break in. Easy to install wheels and frame support. included oil and filler neck extension. I would make filler neck extension 6" to 8" longer to ease oil fill. Used a funnel I had and filled it.

I bought this generator a few weeks ago after a storm left us without power for a few days. The electric start works great once the battery is charged. The cord to pull to start worked on the first try and it will help keep us warm after the next outage.

Westinghouse has been around a long time for a good reason. Quality product that is affordable. This is my second Westinghouse generator. I have the WH7000E that I use at my home in California and it has worked flawless for the past 5 years plus. This one will be the backup and my travel generator.

this generator just arrived, put the front rests and wheels on in just five minutes, filled with the oil that came with, put gas in and started the very first pull. it says to run without load for 1 hour to break in engine, doing that now. no damage upon arrival. from box to running in about 15 or 20 minutes. will try putting a load on it shortly, but if it starts easy, the battle is won!

I recently had to purchase another generator because the one I had quit running after only 2 years. This unit is exhibiting some of the same things the last unit was doing when starting. When the unit runs, it is great. However, starting the unit is a different story. Only purchased another westinghouse because I wanted a remote start.

I bought this a couple weeks ago after a ice storm left most of our town without power, I did not have a backup power source and I will never let that happen again. This unit was recommended by my brother in law who is an electrician and so far it has met all expectations.
