Being an indecisive person, this was a difficult decision. We originally purchased the Pro Adapt Medium and after sleeping on it a couple of months it was just too hard. I am mostly a side sleeper with back/neck problems. In the store we layed on the Luxe Adapt Soft and liked it but, was not ready to pay the cost. I decided to go ahead and exchage, pay the difference and get the Luxe Adapt Soft. I liked it but after a couple of months I just wasn't "sold" on the cost difference. Maybe some buyers remorse had set in. We actually exchanged again and went to a more traditional inner spring mattress from a well known brand. (not Tempru-Pedic) After sleeping on that mattress for a couple of months, I could really tell the difference in the level of comfort and support. Again, we made the exchange back to the Luxe Adapt Soft and haven't looked back! The only disappointing issue was that when the mattress was delivered, there were a few snags in the top cover that I had to trim off. I feel like when you're paying this much for a mattress you should not have to do this. Other than that, I'm happy with the purchase.

Do not buy the luxe adapt firm. The lady at Tempurpedic said most people get soft and return it for the firm. Firm is horrible. My wife and I are both side sleepers and after 6months on this horrible stiff mattress we want to get rid of it! We should have gone with soft even though the sales lady said soft isn't good and most people return it. Do not buy firm. We are putting a mattress topper on ours as a last ditch effort before we just donate it! Our backs, shoulders, and chest are sore from this firm brick bed! I've had Tempurpedic before and it was incredible. This "Luxe" firm is bad and stiff as the floor. Do not recommend. Do not buy.

We have been pleased at how long they last and held up through moves, etc. We have watched as the mattresses have evolved and we decided on the Tempur-LuxeAdapt and we love it! A Lot! I'm sleeping cooler, we rest more completely and we are completely happy with our purchase. I have knee and back issues from a trip and I rest comfortably when I'm having flare ups. Yes, they are expensive. But for your sleep and health, it's good to invest in a good nights sleep. We will always use Tempurpedic products!! For life!

It is soft plush supportive and floats all my pressure points on my hips, back, snd shoulders. It is firm enough that you don't sink. I am now getting great nights sleep without tosssing or turning. I love this mattress and I highly recommend this to everyone.

Overall I love this bed. It does seem that I have to be near the middle to not get the feeling I may slide out ( it's a split king. When you raise the head you slide down and you feet dangle over the end ( I'm 5'4). Some kind of pull out at the foot would be nice. Not one backache- the adjustability can make it perfect for your body. Be careful of the pillows : the ones we bought in the store are soft and pliable, the perfect pillow. The ones we got with the online deal with purchase were supposed to be the same but are three times as thick and hard as a rock- must weigh 5 lbs. we called the store and the person that helped us with our bed purchase, went out of her way to see we got two of the ones we love. The split is a mixed blessing. It's wonderful to adjust each side like you want but it opens a crack in the middle and things ( including our small dog) have fallen through. I'd still take it over a bed with one adjustment all the across. No need for a topper on this bed like we had for our cloud lux. This was comfy from day one, doesn't sleep hot either. Almost the perfect bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is great. We needed a new bed and decided to go with the adjustable platform and have had no regrets. The bed is insanely comfortable. I am a skeptic and was thinking with all the added bedding and stuff we usually put on the bed it would not seem as effective. I was wrong, it is still the most comfortable thing. My wife and I don't toss and turn anymore and can pretty much sleep in any position. I use just the tempur-pedic pillow and I love it. My wife uses her usual pillows and she loves it. I am very impressed. The only problem is that the kids want to sleep on it all the time too.... Overall, this is a fairly expensive bed, but I feel like it was worth the expense. I work a lot and probably don't sleep as much as I should. This helps me and I don't feel any buyers remorse nor do I anticipate having any. I also have noticed a reduced amount of back pain. I work a sedentary job and I confess that my home work space currently with the pandemic situation is not as ergonomic and I was starting to have back pain. This bed has helped with that as well. So I can say that I recommend this bed and have had no issues. Base is super sturdy and remotes have a nice high end feel. Great product.

This bed, especially with the zero gravity, has helped him so much no more pressure sores or paid while lying in bed for hours and days at time. Was the best thing I could have bought. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 15 year old grandson tried the firm mattress when he was visiting. He said it was too firm without a foam topper on it. It is a bit firm for me but is very good quality. My husband said it is a bit firm, but his back felt good and he slept well. He wishes it would conform to the shape of the body a little more. He also would like it to be not so thick because he does activities sitting on the bed and the mattress is higher off the floor than he would like. I received this mattress free in exchange for writing a review.

I am very disappointed in this bed. I have always preferred a firm mattress. I knew at the store this bed was very firm but I expected the material to relax a little - just a little. Well, it didn't and we are close to three months. The adjustable base is fantastic, but it's crushing that we paid almost 7k for this mattress, we were very excited and we both leave The room in the middle of the night to find a guest room bed. We will be utilizing the "comfort guarantee", but are concerned about getting another Tempur-Pedic. This bed replaced a 17 year old Tempur-Pedic that was great. If you don't prefer to sleep on something that feels like a surgical table, skip this bed. Even my cat hates it.

I love the comfort of the luxe adapt soft mattress. However, I have not slept a full night in the 30 days I've had it. I wake up hot even with a window ac unit in our bedroom in addition to our central ac. It retains heat badly. I've tried 3 different sets of sheets, including bamboo, and a cooling bed cover. We will be going back to the furniture store tomorrow now that our 30 night trial will be over in order to exchange for something else!
