It is soft plush supportive and floats all my pressure points on my hips, back, snd shoulders. It is firm enough that you don't sink. I am now getting great nights sleep without tosssing or turning. I love this mattress and I highly recommend this to everyone.

I have had my mattress for about 5 weeks now and I am loving it. At first, it felt really hard and I was nervous, but it has really softened up and is perfect now. I purchased this mattress on July 2019. I heard and read that this mattress would help me with my lower back pain. Although I don't like foam mattresses, I decided to give it a try because it was recommended. Tried it the first nights, didn't like it too much as there is no way to escape from the foam. After dealing with that foamy-thing, I started to feel that my higher back was stiff and I felt tired. However, as this mattress was recommended, I thought that my back pain was caused by a different thing. Last December, I had to sleep on a different bed for one month. My back pain disappeared. After that month, I decided to sleep again on my bed. The next day I was dealing with an excruciating back pain. I slept on the bed for one more week and the usual morning lower and higher back pain was back. What I noticed is that my hips sink on the mattress at a different level than my back and shoulders, and my back muscles have to struggle with tension all night long, causing extreme discomfort and back pain in the morning. It's been 6 months since I bought this mattress, so 90-day guarantee is gone and now I'm afraid to sleep on my own bed because of pain.

The first one is 9 years old and it still feels like brand new!!! 9 years ago, I decided to try Tempur-Pedic because I injured my back several times over my very active life and I would wake up every morning in great pain; additionally, spring mattresses I had bought always ended up with hills and valleys. After 1 week of sleeping on my 1st Tempur-Pedic, I was waking up with NO back pain and that has remained the case over the years. My new Tempur-Pedic is amazing, even better than the 1st, which means Tempur-Pedic must be always working to improve their product. I bought the ergo extended base, which allows me many sleeping and relaxing options and I am always comfortable in my downtime. I've been struggling with a neck and shoulders issue + TMJ, where everything tenses up badly. I've gone through several different types of beds ( serta firm, air mattress etc ) This is the first mattress that has truly helped relax my stiff muscles rather than exacerbating the situation further. It hasn't cured me of course, but it's gone a long way in alleviating my symptoms. Actual good night's rest of neck and shoulders has made a huge difference. I am on the lighter side ( 115 lb ) so I think the soft is perfect for me. Shipping was frustratingly longer than anticipated, and the delivery men did not know how to actually set up the bed base ( so now I need to wait for additional service people to come out...- also frustratingly slow) but in the meantime I've slept on the mattress, and thus far it has been well worth the wait for the product. It has been so comfortable in fact, that I barely find myself moving once settled. It's made sleeping on my back easier ( a necessary adjustment I've had to make ) , but is also soft enough for rare times I side sleep.

After just receiving our 5th mattress set in 18 years I think I can finally say, 'This is the best and our Last!' We both have bad backs and with other mattresses 3-4 hours after going to sleep we are awake and in pain. With Tempur-pedic we have made 6 to 8 hours before we'd waken. You definitely get what you pay for, and while they are expensive you really get what you wanted. Try them first.

It was a hard decision to order this mattress being laid off due to the pandemic I knew I could not afford it. I saw the infomercial for Haynes Furniture to be able to pay in full in 2 years and decided to step out on faith. OMG, it was the best decision I have made in all my 55 years! My body doesn't hurt anymore, and I sleep like a baby. I know a job will come my way to be able to pay for this jewel of a mattress! The best mattress in the world!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had for a week, I have noticed big improvement in comfort. My wife is still adjusting to firm more time will tell whether we will have to change hers to less firm. She was having back discomfort due to arthritis.

Do not buy from temperpedic. The new lineup of beds they offer are no longer of the same quality they use to provide. There are many other options from other companies that are by far superior than temperpedic. It's sad because they use to provide a great product. Unfortunately those days are gone.
