[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best mattress we have ever owned. It keeps me at the perfect temperature all night long. Which is hard since I'm a 50 yo woman. This mattress has made a huge difference in my and my husband's sleep quality. It's incredible comfortable and supportive. So glad we purchased it. Worth every penny.

This is our second. The first was good foe 15 years before human sized body divots drove us mad. Four years in a knock of and we are back. There was no adjustment period. It was perfect from the first night. This one is not as good at absorbing your partner's movements but it's a small price to pay for a good night's sleep.

Just getting used to it--it's been about a month. So far, we both love it. 2 separate twin XL mattresses. Each with our own control. Able to lay in bed and sleep in our own comfort zone. Not cheap but if it holds up and lasts as long as expected, and allows us to sleep comfortably, it will be a great purchase.

Our new Tempur-LuxeAdapt moved semi-restful nights to superb rest in one night. We had slept on a Tempurpedic at our daughter's home-she has two and one in her guest room-which convinced us we needed to replace our 15 year old mattress with one like hers, and we are so thankful we chose to do so! We have surely invested in better health through excellent rest on our LuxeAdapt. Thank you for a wonderful product!

I can not express how satisfied I am in my purchase of this Tempur-Pedic bed worth every cent. I have never slept so comfortably and well ever in my life. No buyers remorse here, I strongly recommend this to everyone who is thinking about getting one I wish I would of made the leap a decade ago.

I have a chronic autoimmune illness that also causes constant pain. I've also had osteoarthritis in my back since my early 20s (and I'm now 51), and literally wore out my body between the physical stress of military and competitive kickboxing. I have slept on a Classic tempurpedic for the past 16 years. Sleep difficulties and waking up hurting let me know I needed to replace my mattress, but I've been nervous about doing it. I finally took the plunge and bought the firm LuxeAdapt. It is AMAZING! I am primarily a side sleeper (true side and side/partially on back or stomach). I also sometimes sleep on my back. The mattress fully conforms to the body, but in a supportive way with no excessive pressure anywhere. I have only slept on it a few nights, but have not woken up this relaxed in a really, really, really long time. I am not sure what people are talking about regarding break in time or the mattress being too firm at first. I felt the mattress was absurdly comfortable from the moment it was places on my adjustable base. The only reason I can think of is that they've never slept on a tempurpedic before. I am beyond ecstatic with this mattress!

Sleeps really well. Helps absorb road roughness when slept on during a team operation. Gives good quality rest vs traditional mattress. For truck application it could stand to be about 4 inches longer and 2 inches wider. Love the fact that you actually feel rested when you wake up. Overall it's one of the best purchases you could ever make for investing in quality rest for trucking.

We are Tempurpedic fans. We have had a split king adjustable unit for about seventeen years. The two mattresses finally needed replacing. Our previous mattresses were firm. My husband is not real picky, but after our original purchase in about 2003, said he regretted a little not getting a softer mattress for his side. So when we ordered the two twin long LuxeAdapt mattresses, we ordered one firm for me and one soft for him. He is satisfied with his. I am not with mine. The one I am using is labeled firm, but neither of us can detect any difference between his soft and my firm mattress. I don't know if mine was mislabelled or what, but it is not firm, which I prefer and need. I don't really want to go through the process of exchanging it, but I probably am. I certainly hope Tempur-pedic still makes a firm mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Corners were bubbled up, and there were waves along the sides. Customer Servuce Rep was hostile and dismissive. It took filing a warranty claim and threatening to return all 3 purchased mattresses to get a replacement of the 1 defective mattress.

After six months of trying to make the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt Soft work, we have finally given up and purchased a different mattress. The biggest problem people should know about is how dramatically room temperature affects this mattress. We found that we had to keep our bedroom at a warmer temperature in the evening just to get the foam soft enough that getting into bed wasn't uncomfortable. Once warm, the mattress becomes softer and conforming. Unfortunately, that creates another problem: this mattress sleeps hot. We have a TEMPUR-Pedic smart base/bed system, and it consistently indicated that our bedroom was too warm. It wasn't until we reduced the overnight temperature to about 64°F that the system stopped complaining about the room temperature. We also found that 64°F was about where we stopped waking up uncomfortably hot during the night. But at that temperature, the mattress gradually becomes extremely firm again. So our nightly routine essentially became: keep the room warm enough before bedtime to make the mattress soft and conforming, then cool the room substantially so we don't overheat while sleeping. The mattress initially softens and allows my body to sink into it—too much in my case, which leaves my spine poorly aligned—and then, as the room cools overnight, the foam becomes increasingly hard while my body is already settled into that position. By morning, the mattress feels rock-like and my back is miserable. I have significant pre-existing back issues, so I certainly don't expect any mattress to cure my back. What I do expect is for a mattress not to make it substantially worse. With this mattress, I routinely wake with severe upper-back, neck and shoulder pain. It can take until 1–3 PM for my back to recover, despite extensive stretching, walking and using a heating pad. My lower back also suffers, despite trying every single adjustment conceivable (including using the lumbar support). I absolutely cannot recommend this bed for anyone who has any back issues, or if you live somewhere that is even slightly warm, or if you live anywhere that is even slightly cold. Before purchasing the LuxeAdapt Soft, we had the Medium Hybrid from the same TEMPUR-Pedic line. It had the same rock-like quality, only substantially worse. I actually preferred sleeping on our couch while we waited for the exchange. After six months, the only positive thing I can say about the LuxeAdapt Soft is that when the bedroom is warm enough, the mattress does initially feel pleasantly soft when you lie down. Unfortunately, for us, that softness doesn't solve the support problem, and it doesn't remain consistent once the room is cooled to a comfortable sleeping temperature. I wish I had understood before purchasing just how temperature-dependent TEMPUR material is in actual overnight use. A mattress whose feel changes this substantially depending on whether the bedroom is warm or cool simply does not work for us.
