Little bit of a learning curve but very hapy overall. I am havjng a problem with Asus recognizing any sim cards for extended memory. So far this doesnt seem to be an option. So you are stuck with the amount of memory you have with purchase or you can buy more jn the cloud.

The Ally is fantastic! I am not a PC gamer, but I got this because I had an old PC game I never have been able to play so I wanted to see if this would allow me to. It works great! And the design feels good in my hand and the controls are very similar to an Xbox controller. I haven’t tried any newer games on it yet, but for my older game (1997), this works exactly like I had hoped it would! And it has the added benefit of being able to do anything that a normal desktop or laptop could do

Everything is very good so far despite the criticism about the micro SD reader, so far I have had no problems and I use it daily, although it made me sad to know that a new review will be released in a few months, I hope ASUS can make the change to people who already have the old model and are at risk of losing the reader.

This meets snd beyond my expectations. Very comfortable to use, great sound, screen, and overall feel. But battery life its very disappointing and frustrating. Its not thats a problem if you play it at home, but outside on the run its the problem. It does not live on the original promo of gaming anywhere and anytime. Zombies would eat me connected to the wall. Jaja joke aside, its a great device with the lack of battery power.

Super good product good for just about anything u can put it to, two things but u can deal with and one is battery life in every mode but just get a 50000 mah power bank and all good there, second is ram why didn’t it give it 32 gig of ram when u need 8 of the 16 to run the graphics make a easy mod and place to get 32 gigs of ram put in and I’m happy

First gaming setup ive had in a decade, and this did not disappoint. Coming from only owning consoles before the game choices and customization in settings are great. Shocking the amount of performance they fit into this tiny handheld device. Added bonus withe a dock and a wireless controller it works great on my tv.

This thing is pretty awesome! I bought it for my daughter but might have to get one for me (or commandeer hers!) Haven't had a chance to test out battery life or any super intensive AAA titles, but for my daughter's use it does everything she needs. We it hooked up to a dock and are able to use peripherals and an external monitor, no issues there at all.

The ROG Ally works very well. Completed all updates before downloading any games. I have not had the overheating problem some have had with the sd card slot. It needs more storage than comes with it. Games are large and only 2 or 3 games will fit. No Documentation on how to set software up or button use. Thank goodness for YouTube videos. It’s a sad thing ASUS depends on someone else for instructions on how to use their product. It can be overwhelming.

I bought my first Asus ROG yesterday, and I can't stop playing it! I did a little research before making my purchase and knew it would take some time to update everything, but I didn’t mind that much—patience is key. I'm surprised by how big and powerful this machine is! I only own regular consoles, but this thing is a beast!

I love it, really. My only issues are the random restarts when I launch a game after it was turned off, and some games crashing while redownloading resource packs after a restart. a good example of this is halo infinite, every time I have to download the resource packs it crashes about 5 times, but it keeps the progress so it's not that much of an issue. Though I do understand that such a game pushes the rog ally to its limit. Anyway, I love it. It's my pride and joy. Keep it up ASUS!
