It’s small and fits in the hands; the ally gots good size to it! I’ve already got more than four hours on this product. When it has been turned on it resembles A home size office computer. The quality of this device holds valued production and offers service.

Got this the 2 weeks ago to dip my toe in pc gameing and so far this little dude have been a blast. I've been playing on it every night since i got it. Had to do a lot of research on how to set things up but i haven't touched a pc since windows 98 so i had a lot of learning to do. It light wight and feels good to hold. Its runs my games with no problems.

The ROG Ally is a decent alternative to the Steam Deck and Legion Go. I'm able to play games from my Xbox PC game pass as well as stream games fro my Xbox console when my Ally is on wifi. I can also play my steam games without any issues. The battery life is okay, but I would suggest anyone looking to play more than 2-3 while not being tethered to a wall plug should look into a portable battery pack as well as a compatible USB cord. The Baseus 100w battery pack as well as the Baseus 100w USB c to USB c cable are a good combo to get a good amount of play time while running on performance mode for the Ally. Overall I like the console and think it is one of the cheaper alternatives to other handhelds on the market.

it’s a great device only problem i have can’t run certain games the says can run on it like terraria lags some times but other then that its super nice to hold graphics are very nice quality over all is good little laggy at times battery life doesn’t last that long so keep it plugged in over all solid system with little upgrades needed

Great price for a small high performance gaming PC handheld. Built solid with high quality and functions well on most games. Beats all the competition, even with the lowest model. A little sluggish from the startup to all the updates finishing but much improved afterward. Still better than I expected.

I'm very impressed by this little piece of hardware. I didn't know what to expect because I'm use to high end 4k graphics. That being said, I've tried newer and older titles and some run better then others. But it's always a playable experience with good to great framerates. Some games run in medium 1080p, others I need to reduce the settings for a better frame rate. I love the ROG Ally. I have a huge steam library and the idea of having all the stores as opposed to just steam with the steam deck is awesome. Xbox game pass runs great on the deck there's so many games to play. Is this a laptop replacement? Depends on what type of laptop performance you expect. If you're a lower end pc user that casually games then yes, yes it can replace your laptop. If you like high end graphics it will not replace a high end laptop or desktop.(may replace your switch).It will however find a nice place in your gaming lifestyle. I love watching TV and gaming on the ally, I love travel with the ally, I love how the ally feels.5 stars asus you hit it out the park with the design and I look forward to what's to come with handheld PC's. I do recommend upgrading your solid state drive and skipping the card reader.

I wouldn’t buy it again. It lags, I constantly get something saying “Firmware Update Tool” and when I hit “Update” I get another “Firmware Update Tool” message again and it goes over and over. It also crashes when playing big name games. Then there’s the Memory SD Card issue that SO MANY people have had issues with. I’m scared to use it on my system. Even if Asus fixes it I still have to deal with it. Maybe I’ll go buy the Steam Deck.

Absolutely loving this device. It has literally changed the way I game now. Instead of sitting in front of a PC or console… I am gaming pretty much anywhere that I have some time. It’s not perfect and it seems like a lot of tinkering, but that is any Windows gaming.

Purchased this handheld PC gaming system two days ago. So far not too bad, but there are some little glitches and troubleshooting That I have been resolving to fix. Nothing serious only a few updates that were downloaded on the system so far. It is a little heavier than the one that I have at home which is a cloud gaming streaming service system. What are the dislikes about the system but it’s nothing serious is the corner where your palms are touching if those were rounder it would be much better to hold onto the system for a longer time. If I find anything else that I’m concerned about, I’ll advise my review.

Honestly did not have enough for a gaming computer that could keep up with my taste in games. Luckily, the ROG Ally is exactly what I needed. Every game I'm interested in playing at the moment, plays flawlessly on the Ally. Amory crate is meh, but steam and every other game launcher integrated smoothly. I am convinced that The ROG Ally is the best handheld gaming platform
