We bought this for our son for his birthday, and it's been nothing but problems. It runs on Windows OS so after the first update, it went to a blue screen BitLocker Lockout where we had to access a code from his Microsoft account. When games work, it works great, other wise, wish we would of looked at other devices instead.

The blue screen of death after a Windows update is glitch, which is random. If you are experiencing stability or performance issues with the ROG Ally, check if Windows, drivers, BIOS, games, and the Armoury Crate utility software are updated. Updates for the device are posted at: https://rog.asus.com/us/gaming-handhelds/rog-ally/rog-ally-2023/helpdesk_bios/. Configure the game and video settings inside the Armoury Crate utility. Additionally, if you are playing these games online, please ensure the device has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application.
