I received a free sample for my honest review. The cake was so moist. the coconut flavor was tasty. there was an after taste that was present it didn't take away from the cake but was present.

No coconut flavor at all, expected more flavor but it was just a white wet cake with coconut shavings in the outside and as they freeze their cakes the flavor was gone. Dont buy

I received a free sample for my honest review. The cake was moist and had a good flavor including the thin layers between the cake layers. There was something about the icing though that left a strange aftertaste in our mouths.

Looked yummy, tasted so sweet your teeth hurt. Frosting was grainy and way too artificial tasting. Purchase for a party and everyone took a slice but ate one or two bites. Bummed as its hard to find a non-chocolate or non-fake fruit dessert.

While this cake was moist and tasty , I felt misled by the description. The description said 6 layers, the cake was only 3 layers. It also arrived noticeably lopsided. I'm usually impressed with Sam's bakery products, but not this time.

Was surprised that it kind of tasted like cinnamon? Was expecting a vanilla cake with vanilla or coconut frosting but had a strange light taste of cinnamon. I wondered if they put the wrong filling inside?

Very disappointed with the taste. Thick frosting on top and sides are super sweet but there is hardly any frosting between layers. Balance that out and the cake would be much better. Even better is make with fruity filling such as pineapple, lemon or strawberry would make the coconut cake a must have!!
