I am very happy with the purchase; however, I would have rated it excellent, if it were a little quieter. It is not very loud; It might just be that I have a problem with any noise. I was also surprised that the current temperature wasn't shown before setting the temperature to preferred temperature.

I shopped this A/C in Home Depot. Decided I didn't want to install a 220v line. My wife's requirement is that it makes our living room like ice. Well, it did its job. Says it has 2 compressors. Didn't exactly know how this worked until I had to run it on a generator during Hurricane Barry. Had to run it on "Energy" and it cooled fine. Its a rather large window unit so I would recommend getting a Window A/C support add on.

I bought this a few weeks ago during the heat wave, 110 plus degrees. It shipped in 2 days, and took me 2 hours to install. Though 2 hours does sound like a lot, it was very easy to install. My house stayed below 75 degrees in that weather. With a newborn baby, this was a life saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this ac two week ago and am very impressed. I run it all day in atleast an 800 square foot room in 100 degree weather during the day. It has no problem keeping up and cost me about a dollar and a half to run 24 hours

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, I am using this cooler in a unconventional method since I couldn't find one to fit in any of my other windows. I placed this one in a bedroom and use a fan to force the cool air into the other areas, works great.

We bought two units for an apartment complex and they stopped working after a year. The units would not power on due to an issue with the computer board. Called LG and they sent a repair company who requested that we remove them to repair them. We ended up just replacing them with a more reliable brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it July, have had problems with it making all kinds of noises and not cooling the best ,it also draws a lot of electricity, had repair man come ,of course it was working when he got here ,he did nothing but stand there and look at it ,said it was fine and left. It still does the same thing that I called about, so not happy and I think they should replace it ,because it is just not working properly.

When I came upon this unit and read the reviews I was sold. When it arrived and it was installed I could not believe the power, air flow and durability of this unit. You guys hit a home run and ran around the bases in my opinion.

Box wasn't sealed but the bands were in place. The item was so large I had no one to move it. I have an electric gate but no one called or texted. Not sure want is going on but there has been items that were smashed and crashed. They are in a hurry and things aren't packed right. This continues I won't be renewing my membership.

I brought this Window A/C last month because my Central A/C was down. My plan was to use this A/C until my Central A/C could be repaired. But, my plans have changed...now, I only use my New LG 15,000 BTU Window A/C...because it does the job for less than half the Electric Bill Cost.
