Great Unit does the job and is quite about it. It comes on every three minutes to cumulates the air. The compressor only kicks in when temp drops two degrees. Then once the temp is reached it shuts off again, till the next three-minute cycle. Read all kinds of silly reviews on this unit but realized the people who wrote them had no common sense. If you are hearing a rattling noise, it improper installation not the unit, itself. I will share a secret with you if you promise not to tell anyone. Always buy a unit that will cover twice the square footage you need. I needed 400 sq ft. so I bought a 800 sq ft. unit. It will cool down faster and run less. Which will save you electricity and wear and tear on the unit that can't keep up with the heat.

This AC cools nearly my whole house (1250 sqft) when I use a fan also. I love the reliability and efficiency of the LG units. I plan on buying another small unit for the back of the house.

I have this air conditioner for a few days now. I purchased it at the right time as it is extremely hot outside. This air conditioner can cool my whole apartment. It does such a great job that I find myself having to adjust the temperature to a higher setting. Most of the time I have it no lower than 70, and my apartment is real cool.

However, had to get a company to come out and fix it only 4 weeks after delivery, it was making a clicking noise when turned on. It took us around an hour of questions before they would schedule the repair. The technician that came out did a good job.

I've had this a/c for a couple of months now and I must say that I'm very happy with it. It's really quiet and it cools my whole house. I've read the reviews and some were not good, but I gave it a chance and I'm glad I did. I went from 3 a/c units to 1 and you can't beat that. It's a little heavy and I needed help to install because of my strokes. If you're having doubts, don't. I'm very happy!

I've used my LG AC for a couple weeks and I'm glad I bought it. It does the job for what I got it for and does it easily. The features it has are great and the remote is nice. The installation kit is better than what I normally see. Easy to install and it's solid. Before I bought it I was debating on brand, but my Son bought an LG washer and dryer a while back and they are very nice. I figured since those are such nice units the brand must be tops. Thanks.

I am very happy with the purchase; however, I would have rated it excellent, if it were a little quieter. It is not very loud; It might just be that I have a problem with any noise. I was also surprised that the current temperature wasn't shown before setting the temperature to preferred temperature.

I bought this LG window air conditioner 2 months ago and I'm very happy about it for the following reason. 1. It is much lighter compared to my older window air conditioner (from another vendor). 2. It cools the room quickly and quietly. 3. It looks pretty. The white color matches the color of the wall and it makes the room looks brighter. Nice! 4. The LG service is wonderful.
