[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for the exact same unit that I had installed in my detached oversized (900 s.f.) garage. I have multiple wood working and other tools in my garage, and living in the Myrtle beach area of SC, I need protection from the heat and humidity. My previous unit lasted for 6 hard years of use. It was more cost effective to buy a new unit than to repair the old one. My new unit fired up and is working perfectively, as I believed it would. Looking forward to many years of my garage staying cool with reduced humidity.

It cools my place and is energy efficient, with the unit I had before I couldn't run it all the time cause of the cost, with this one I have it set and it goes on and off all day and my first bill was so much less than before.

Whisper quiet air output and when the compressor turns on and off, there is hardly a thump. Other a/c units really bang or thud when the compressor cycles. The controls are intuitive and very easy to use. It has no problem keeping my home very comfortable. My overall impression of this LG 15,000 btu window a/c is "awesome!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are in a small apartment and it cools everything and removes humidity from our south Florida inside environment. Our old unit dripped water outside, messing up our sidewalks. It's quiet and has a great remote as well.

This unit was installed through the wall not as a window unit. It works beautifully and cools so very quiet...love the features. Best of all I own many LG products and found their customer service is one of the best in the industry when a problem arises and needs repair. They are always there to resolve the issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for about one month. It does what I want it to. Cools the air. If it does this for at least six years it will have earned the 4 stars I gave it. The last one I had of another brand that I don't see anymore lasted 18 years.

I Bought this air conditioner a month and a half ago and I have had some problems with it, making weird noises, of course when I get some one though warranty to come look at it ,it works fine till they leave then it makes the noise again ,warranty is only a year and it almost the end of summer. So we all know it will happen again when the warranty doesn't cover. Also it doesn't cool like I expected

The A/C has been working very well, keeping the room cool at 74 even when it is 104 outside. The only thing missing is protection from Hail for the cooling fins. The LG A/C replaced the 36+ year old Sears A/C. I used part of the Sears A/C to create a vent to protect the fins from Hail. it maybe inelegant but it works and does not impede the air flow.

But when I found this one, I knew for s I wanted it especially since it had an in-home warranty! I was thrilled. None of the others I came across had it. I would recommend LG to anyone (I have an LG phone also!)! Go check them out for yourself. It's so cool in my house now!!
