Don't particularly like the energy saving mode because it comes on every 3 minutes. Have not had an air conditioner that did this so did not know if I would get accustomed to it. So far I have not, Have it in the same room as tv and need to adjust tv volume every time air conditioner comes on. There is no setting that the unit simply comes on when needed to satisfy thermostat. Unit is noisy and besides the rushing air sound has an annoying vrom vrom sound from fan or compressor.

At least 2 filters should have been included in the package ;In addition contact info on where to source the filters. info. The unit is very noisy but it does cool the room within a reasonable time frame.

This air conditioner was bought in May 2023 and is just perfect for the area for which it was bought. It blows powerfully and feels wonderful. I have received my electric bill since we installed this unit, and I do believe it to be energy efficient. I would recommend this unit to my friends and family.

Very pleased with our purchase so far. It is a little large to put in and take out of the window. Recommend having help available or plan on leaving in window year round.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for the exact same unit that I had installed in my detached oversized (900 s.f.) garage. I have multiple wood working and other tools in my garage, and living in the Myrtle beach area of SC, I need protection from the heat and humidity. My previous unit lasted for 6 hard years of use. It was more cost effective to buy a new unit than to repair the old one. My new unit fired up and is working perfectively, as I believed it would. Looking forward to many years of my garage staying cool with reduced humidity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to cool a make over garage and it is doing as described. It runs a little more than I think it should because the fan mixes the air to check the temperature in the room but other than that does work well.

The installation is fairly easy. We upgraded from an old GE 12,000BTU unit to this LG 15,000 unit, and it makes a world of difference. Our central unit has not ahd to run as often with this unit unlike with the old unit. It's definitely worth the buy!

It cools my place and is energy efficient, with the unit I had before I couldn't run it all the time cause of the cost, with this one I have it set and it goes on and off all day and my first bill was so much less than before.

Whisper quiet air output and when the compressor turns on and off, there is hardly a thump. Other a/c units really bang or thud when the compressor cycles. The controls are intuitive and very easy to use. It has no problem keeping my home very comfortable. My overall impression of this LG 15,000 btu window a/c is "awesome!"
