[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is, firstly, a very comfortable mattress. You don't have that get in, sink really deep into it thing that you do with some fully foam mattresses. The give is, instead, just enough to be really, really comfortable. And it's great for cuddling: your arm doesn't fall asleep. In contrast, I find that I'm definitely getting better sleep on this mattress, and, I don't wake up sore anymore. It's pretty fantastic. I've also found that, compared to my previous spring mattress, I don't feel as much when my partner moves or shifts in the night. I dare say this mattress is even more comfortable than a hammock, and that's saying something. One concern I had with a foam mattress was how warm it would be. Well, my fears turned out to be unjustified: even in an apartment with no air conditioning, in an unusually hot August, I had no trouble with overheating, and I definitely sleep on the warm side. I think this is due to the fact you don't end up sinking into, and being encapsulated in, the mattress. The only downsides I found with this mattress were minor. First, when it arrived, it definitely had a pretty strong plastic smell to it. Fortunately this dissipated after a few days. The other thing I discovered is that, if you don't have sheets that are big enough for the mattress depth, they really don't work! With my old mattress, slightly smaller sheets still gripped the side of the mattress fine. This one, though, has so much give in it that I kept waking up completely wrapped in the bottom sheet! This was rectified by purchasing some sheets that actually fit the 12 inch deep mattress--- but it's a good thing to know beforehand.

I use to wake up every morning with back pain. My first night sleep on my pro adapt mattress was very comfortable and NO back pain the next morning or since sleeping on the pro adapt. Love that the cover can be removed and washed. And it super cool, don't need fan on at night.

We bought this bed after tracking our sleep scores for some time to get a better understanding of why we weren't sleeping as well as we could. Our sleep scores have significant improved and we wake up refreshed and with out the aches and pains that we had before.

Like sleeping on "HOT CONCRETE".My entire body is in pain this morning. HOT too. "OMG" and I purchased the soft one. Soft means soft to me. Soft must mean "CONCRETE" to tempurpedic. Cool means cool to me. Cool obviously means "FIRE HOT" to tempurpedic. STUCK WITH THIS EXTREMELY OVER PRICED SLAB OF "HOT CONCRETE " !!!!!!!!!! I would not give it one star but that option isn't provided. This purchase has sickened me!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my pro-adapt one month ago and since sleeping on it every night, my back hip and neck pain has almost disappeared. I feel like this mattress is a bit too soft for my taste but at the same time, I was told stomach sleepers need a softer mattress to support them more. So I may have to give up my firm preference to keep sleeping pain-free! Also I do love the zero gravity mode on the base I purchased to go along with the bed. The massage feature just feels like the bed is vibrating and I honestly don't think it was worth the extra money. I wish I had tried the base in store - I would have done without the extra massage feature.

We have had a Tempur-Pedic Mattress for 20 years in the Master Bedroom and loved it. In fact liked it so much we got one for the MotorHome 15 years ago. It was time to get a new mattress as we had pushed the first one to the limit and it was still performing fairly well. But the new Tempur-ProAdapt Firm is wonderful! Nice night sleeping and feel refreshed on awakening. Even with Twin XL mattresses on the king base, they stay where they belong and do not walk or part. One thing I do not like is at our age it is a heavy mattress for us to lift to change the bedding but we are handling it.

We've had our new mattress for a month now and both of us are sleeping much better with the firm mattress. Even with two full grown pitbulls, the mattress doesn't move or disturb your sleep if someone shifts their position. Both of us are getting on average 20-30 minutes of additional sleep (per watch tracking apps) than we were prior to this mattress.

Perfect mattress, firm but comfortable. It gives the support you need, but with the softness all at the same time. The adjustable frame makes my life easier. I'm so glad I made this purchase.

There are no words to describe how much more comfortable our bed feels. My wife and I sleep solidly through the night and wake up feeling refreshed and pain free. Just the feeling of crawling into bed at night and crawling out in the morning is magical. We are amazed at how our new mattress has improved the overall quality of life. We were skeptical about buying it at first because it was expensive but now having slept on it for a couple of weeks we have absolutely no regrets, it is worth every penny!!!!!

We are a long-term customer of tempur-pedic. We have slept on 2 mattresses over the course of 8 years. Both mattresses lost support and have begun to significantly sag within 2 years. We are not heavy by any means. My husband is 185 lbs. and I am 135 lbs. We use 2 waterproof mattress covers to ensure no sweat gets through, as my husband is a hot sleeper. We have BOTH developed nerve damage in our necks due to the sagging! We have been going to physical therapy and the chiropractor regularly to fix this for the last year and a half. Our arms go numb at night with excruciating tingling pain in the elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers. I have lost many nights of sleep trying to make this pain go away. My husband the same. After we went out of town and slept on a different bed, we knew the issue was with the mattress. Our first mattress we were able to return with warranty. The second however they won't allow it. The dip isn't large enough, which is completely inaccurate! Customer service is subpar. Quality is less than desirable for the cost of the mattress. I will NEVER purchase a tempur-pedic again. It seems their quality has diminished tremendously over the last 10 years. Don't waste your money.... You'll pay for it double time in health costs due to chronic pain and nerve damage.
