This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is amazing. When it first arrived, it was as hard as a brick, but over time, it adapted to our weight, and we've never slept better. Perfect temperature, very quiet at night, and all-around great experience.

The mattress was too firm. As is recommended, for the best night's sleep, I slept on my back. Every morning, upon awakening, I would roll over on my side, and that was uncomfortable, for me. As long as I stayed in one position, on my back, it was bearable. I gave it almost three weeks, then texted the salesperson, and told him of my unhappiness.

We are loving this mattress. I used to wake up 3 and 4 times a night and never would I sleep later than 4 a.m. Now I am waking up at 7-7:30. Good thing we are retired! The only negative thing I would say is that it is hard to change positions, but being able to sleep all night and get a full night's sleep is wonderful.

From the perspective of a lightweight person, the "soft" mattress is a great balance between firm edges and just enough "sink" while you're sleeping. Have had it for 6 months and it's still just as comfortable as day one. Highly recommend.

I have owned 2 Sleep Number beds for many years. The first Sleep number bed, the Mattress topper was sinking in the middle when it was set for 100. The second bed did not inflate to the number you programmed. Given the disappointment and expense of the Sleep Number Beds, I decided that I was going to try a Tempur-Pedic Mattress and I absolutely LOVE it !! I get a great night sleep and do not have any Back or Shoulder pain anymore. After trying several other Mattresses, this one is the BEST for me and I highly recommend it. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic !!

My husband refused to get a new bed for over 5 yrs - FINALLY convinced him to get one & he has never slept better. His back is no longer bothering him like it use to & his sleep apnea is not nearly as bad! This is the second Tempur-pedic bed I have owned & as another reviewer stated, they only get better with time!

I spent 25 years in Army/Joint Special Operations and beat my body up over that whole time. Parachute jumps, combat tours, 100 pound rucksacks left their toll on my back. I've looked for mattresses that would help me sleep abs finally decided that I needed to buy the best. My Tempur is the bomb and I'm finally getting the sleep I need, without the pain often associated with that. Loved it so much, I bought the massaging base and pillows. Love these products!
