Initially, we thought the bed wasn't going to be comfortable--it's so different from a normal mattress. It can feel board-stiff when you first plop down on it, but that is easy to adapt to because once you're settled in for sleep, it's seriously the most comfortable mattress we've ever slept on. Those little annoyances in a regular mattress (like feeling like you're rolling into the middle when sleeping with your spouse, or the whole dang thing jiggles when she gets up at night) are 100% gone. If you can afford it, I highly, highly recommend. The one thing I don't like about it is that it can trap some serious heat. I sleep very hot, and even with the thermostat set to 64 F, I still sometimes wake up sweating. I should have bought the cooling mattress but it's more expensive.

I've been sleeping on a very hard bed for 30 years because of a bad back. The new ProAdapt Firm mattress has been great on my back, sleeping is sound and my back feels great every morning. I thought the mattress would be much harder living in the North East in winter, but it settles in nice a quick and I'm off to sleep before I know it..

Not an easy process to file a mattress claim. You will be denied unless "there are 3/4" (inch) or greater visible indentations". Proper forms and photos were sent. Mattress is 2 years old. It's a lot of trouble to get nothing in return. The standard I paid for is not the standard of service I received . Claim was denied. Make sure you are aware of what you are purchasing and will get for the huge amount of money you will spend for a mattress .

The ProAdapt Hybrid is the BEST mattress i have ever slept on. I am so happy with this purchase and have already recommended it to other friends in the market for a new mattress. My body feels hugged all night long and i wake up very rested. Highly recommend this all!

Three months ago I purchased a Tempur-pedic adjustable bed and a very soft non-Tempur-pedic mattress (I always liked soft mattresses, and I'm a stomach sleeper). Perhaps it was the fact that I'm no longer young, perhaps the mattress in question was too soft, I don't know, what I know is that I had a terrible time sleeping in it. My back ached terribly. After 3 weeks I went back to the store to exchange it for a Tempur-pedic. After trying the medium and the firm, I decided to try the latter. It's been 2 months since I've been sleeping in it, and I can say it was one of the best choices I've made in my life. It took a couple of weeks for me to break-in the mattress, but once this beauty and I got to understand each other, our relationship has been wonderful. I haven't felt lumbar pain ever since, and the best of all is that I CONTINUE TO SLEEP ON MY STOMACH! It's a miracle, really.

Best night's sleep I have had in years. I had my first back surgery in 2013 and second in 2016. I have tried different, expensive mattresses and could not sleep without hurting. I slept in a recliner for a year. The firm mattress that I got wouldn't be for everyone but with my back I needed it. Everything else gave too much and caused my pain all over. The person that I bought it from was amazed that I adjusted to it so quickly. I would not sell my mattress to anyone. It's all mine!

I NEVER write reviews but felt compelled to in this case! I've been to the doctor numerous times in the last 2 years for neck and back pain and taken way more prescribed anti inflammatory pills than I should at 41 years old! I didn't have a clue that my old bed was crippling me until we went on vacation and I slept in a different bed! Long story short-We INVESTED in this bed and I immediately noticed a difference after the first night. I woke up with zero pain and felt more well rested than I've seriously felt in 20 years. Not gonna lie...Dropping that kind of cash on a bed seemed kind of crazy at first and I had a little bit of buyers remorse AT FIRST!!! Knowing what I know now that was just silly!! I honestly don't think I knew what a great nights sleep actually was before! Take that money you were gonna spend on that fancy vehicle accessory or whatever else you don't really need and GET THIS BED INSTEAD!!!! SO WORTH IT!!!!

It was a huge gamble to give up a well known old mattress to try a mattress that we hoped would suit both of our desires for firmness/softness. My husband and I are two different sizes and require two different needs for support. Being a chronic pain and orthopedic patient between the two of us, this bed was definitely up for the challenge. My husband was skeptical, but we both decided to use our FitBit sleep analysis to compare. Both of us saw an immediate change in our sleep quality, both technologically and just feeling better. I've never had a tempur pedic but my husband has, and he was most impressed with the extra layer of support the Pro-Adapt provides. I'm not only waking up with deeper rest, but I don't have the extra stiffness that a poorly supported mattress gives me. This is an excellent choice if you're in between firmness/softness desires, and the extra support (not necessarily more firm, literally support) is phenomenal. 10 out of 5 stars if possible.

This is the best bed we have owned in our 45 years of marriage. Love the adjustable features. We have some aches and pains and the availability to put the bed into comfortable positions is a big plus. Our sleep patterns seems to come more quickly instead of thrashing around before settling in for the night.

Tempurpedic mattresses are always very comfortable and allow you to sleep all night - but the lack of a spring response in a typical Tempurpedic can make getting in and out of the bed - and undertaking any other activities that are better with a little bounce - somewhat tedious. However, the ProAdapt solves those issues - while maintaining the comfort of sleeping on a Tempurpedic, when you're sleeping.... I got the new adjustable base too and love it - the Zero Gravity setting is amazing. Note that the foot of the bed is up really high when you're in this position - like literally 4 feet off the ground - which is fine for the person in the bed but I can't imagine somebody else or a pet trying to join you or depart - instructions state that the bed should be flat when you get in and out of it so that shouldn't be an issue.
