I have purchased Tempurpedic bed toppers for other beds in my house and they came beautifully packaged, clean and flawless. This time when I purchased a topper it came in poorly repackaged, dingy looking and the cover had a rip in it. It was clearly one that someone had sent back after sleeping on it for 90 days. It was clear that quality control had not looked it over before rewrapping it, and I have no idea whether it was sanitized in any way. I am incredibly disappointed with a company that touts itself as being the absolute best. The product itself is good, but I expected better from Tempurpedic.

I bought a Tempur-Pedic adapt medium. Was told this was a great entry-level mattress. I have chronic insomnia and I hope this would help. It did not .I feel like I'm sleeping on a slab. Now I'm going to have to upgrade in order to get a softer mattress which is not what I intended to have to do

I use to own a pillow top and it was killing me. I woke up with back and hip pain every day. So I tried all of the mattresses at the store And fell in love with this mattress. The first night sleep was amazing I woke up with very little pain in my hip and back. The next few days the pain was gone. This is an amazing mattress I would definitely recommend it to àll my friends and family.and to you all reading this review it is amazing. The only thing I wish I could afford was the pillows to go with it but I will get them later.

We decided to purchase our TEMPUR-Adapt due to me constantly waking up stiff and in pain. This mattress has been a blessing for me. I no longer wake up feeling like I am injured. I'm still getting use to the mattress but I can definitely tell a difference in my quality of sleep and my overall health.

Very pleased with the mattress when I tested out at a store I knew I had to have it. The big test would be my wife because she was not with me at the time but she loves it too. You know what they say happy wife good night sleep something like that I think. GREAT BED.

The mattress is very comfortable but the top layer is extremely slippery! We had deep pocket bed sheets and since this model is only 11" the top sheet slides around A LOT, which is very annoying. Wish we would have known that beforehand and we may have opted for the thicker 12" option. We are considering returning but don't want to go through the hassle. :-/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the TEMPUR-adapt matress. I was looking for a pillow top feel with superior back support. The matress is more on the firm side of the spectrum, with a conforming soft foam top. I do enjoy the back support the matress offers. I do recommend this TEMPRUR-PEDIC matress if you enjoy a firm mattress with a little give on top the TEMPUR-ADAPT is for you.

The first year on our new Tempur Pedic Adapt Medium was great. Soft yet firm, with support everywhere you need it. Just like I remember from the Tempur Pedics that I slept on for years throughout high school and again after college. But almost to the day one year later, I started noticing neck pain when I woke up. It wouldn't go away, and started getting worse. I got the Tempur Pedic neck pillow, which did help a bit, and my wife says it reduced my snoring. But the neck pain never went away, with some days worse that others. After a few more months, my wife started having trouble sleeping because of back pain. Then I started getting back pain when lying on my back. We realized the areas where we sleep had gone completely soft, yet the sag in the top layer did not meet the company's warranty standards - as determined from the photos that they told me to take and send in. But this issue is not visible from the outside; it is a failure of the foam cells throughout the midlayers of the mattress. I can feel it by shifting to the center of the bed where neither of our bodies lie while sleeping. It feels like a ridge that you can balance on, like a thin sliver of support. But because of the properties of memory foam, there is no way to evaluate this without lying down on it. The mattress retains it's level form even as the interior foam completely breaks down. The company makes an effort to brand themselves as 'high end' and charge a fortune for their products. But just like their beds, the support from Tempur Pedic's customer service team is also severely lacking. It is very impersonal and you feel somewhat betrayed after getting completely shut down without a fair analysis. I am very disappointed with the way this company has become after being a previously happy customer. I used to recommend the beds anytime the subject came up, but I will never again. The product has gotten worse instead of better, and their service is abysmal.

We have purchased several mattresses over the last 13 years trying to find the best one for us. We have tried the popular air adjustable bed, ones with hybrid latex, ones with memory foam and even the bed with water calibrators. I wish we found Tempurpedic first. We have slept so good every night since night 1. There was no "break-in" period. We actually GET SLEEP now. No tossing and turning. No aches and pains. Just sound healthy sleep.

We've had a king-sized Tempurpedic bed for over 20 years and LOVED IT! That mattress changed our lives; no more hip aches, backaches or 3 a.m. tinkle fairy calls. When we decided to get a new bed, we went right back to Tempurpedic. Owning one of these beds is a huge investment and we're thinking this will be the last bed we'll have, at this point in our lives. Getting older and dealing with digestion issues and sinus issues, we went with a new Tempurpedic Adustable Bed with two twin XL beds so we can each adjust our own side. Having been used to a very hard, stable bed, we went to the Medium, at the suggestion of our salesperson. We thought we were coming down one level, to a less hard mattress with a little give) and these new beds are quite a bit softer than what we are used to. I've already returned my mattress once. We LOVE the adjustable part! No more digestive issues at all! I just wish the mattress wasn't so soft. It takes some getting used to, I guess. We also got $300 worth of Tempurpedic products free - unfortunately, the sheets that we got do not stay on the mattresses well, they lift off the edges and bunch underneath you; and the two mattress covers were like sleeping on diapers (the noise and sounds were very disruptive to our sleep; so I've replaced both mattress pads and the two sheet sets that we got for "free". But no complaints with my new pillows!! I do want to say to anyone thinking of purchasing a mattress - lay on them for a long period of time; purchasing a mattress is a huge commitment, financial and health wise and should not be made in a few minutes sitting on a bunch of mattresses. Tell your salesperson what you like and do not like about your current mattress. I wish that the store's return policy was more accommodating; apparently you can only return once - even though you have two mattresses (yes, you get 30 days to return but when you've waited three weeks for your mattress and in four days' time, realize you hate it), of course you want to return immediately for a replacement which, unfortunately took another three weeks to arrive. One really great thing about the new, improved Tempurpedic mattresses vs. my old one; they're much cooler; breath better, I'm sure due to better materials.
