I purchased the igen2200 as a back-up for frequent power outages here in Central Florida. The unit started right up, ran very quietly, and even powered my 10k btu room unit, lights and refrigerator! Its light weight means that I will also use it for RV power during camping trips. Thanks, Westinghouse!

I use this generator in parallel with another iGen2200 to provide my 30A Jayflight SLX travel trailer with up to 30A of current. The generators are quiet and I like the Efficiency Mode which automatically adjusts the RPM of the generators to match the instantaneous current load. The generators start easily and their compact size and light weight makes it easy to transport them and set them up at my campsites.

Luckily I haven't needed it in an emergency situation yet but I did the break in period and plugged a few things into it to see how it went. It ran a couple smaller heaters and a couple lamps with ease and ran relatively quiet. Instructions were easy to understand. Hopefully I'll never need it but glad to have it if I do.

We bought this with the intention of camping out of our SUV. We had recently lost power at our house, so it will also serve to power our freezers and lights when needed. After break in, I've only tested it to run some heavy pumps. It did exactly what I needed to do, and did it surprisingly quietly. We almost bought a much larger generator, but I think this will do exactly what we intended. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the access panel on the side rattles and I had to add some padding to quiet that down.

We bought a pair of 1Gen2200 generators so we could use them individually with small loads and pair them up for larger loads. What a terrific idea! We're very pleased. These units are lightweight, whisper quiet, and easy to start. We couldn't ask for more.

Using this generator most for camping while off the grid. It works great for our needs and provides enough power to run all our devices. It is easy on fuel and runs fairly quiet. I would recommend this unit for camping or any other portable power needs.

Started 2nd pull right out of the box. Included oil & funnel. Tried it out with my 3/4hp sump pump lifting water 10 feet. Worked great with or without echo mode turned on. Pump started and ran exactly like it does on utility power. Ran 1 hour with 1 pump cycle every 2 minutes. Never skipped a beat. Quieter than expected. Could not hear it running from inside the house with the generator just outside. Note: Ordered the IGEN2200 but the box and the unit were labeled IGEN2000. Upon opening the box there was a notice that the unit was mislabeled at the factory but that it was indeed an IGEN2200.

The generator came with oil and a funnel. Easy to start. The access cover on the side has two screws plus some snap-in plastic pins that will hold it in place without the screws. The snap in pins were quite tight. One thing missing from the unit is an hour meter to help time oil changes. The user manual is detailed and calls for 50 hour oil changes.

This came to my house literally 25 hours after I ordered it. The directions were easy to read and understand. Totally solid product, and after filling with oil and gas, this generator started on the first pull. Very satisfied I bought this. Would recommend 100 percent.

When I saw the ad for this generator I couldn't believe the price. I ordered it for tailgating and it's unfortunate that we got it at the tail of the season but I'm excited for next year. When we got it out of the box we had a little trouble starting it but once we got the oil level dialed in it started up like a champ. In addition, we live on 5 acres and we don't have power everywhere so it will come in handy for those remote projects
