Purchased in Aug 2020; did some short load tests but haven't used it in an actual emergency yet. Only 46 pounds, easy to carry with one hand. The upgraded outlet covers are a nice touch. We originally thought we would need an iGen4200 or two iGen2200s in parallel to power what we need, but after this short test we think a single iGen2200 is powerful enough. It is indeed a quiet generator, but not nearly as quiet as the advertising would like you to believe. The nice thing about efficiency mode on an inverter generator is that it only runs the engine as much as it needs to power your devices. So when it is just idling with nothing attached, it is very quiet (still not 52dB even at idle, but quiet anyway). If you plug in a few cellphones or an LED lamp, it stays just as quiet. But as soon as you add a refrigerator or a sump pump or other appliance, it starts roaring like an airplane taking off. The maximum sound is still quieter than other generators, and it only stays loud as long as it needs to produce that much power, but you should know that you're not going to get 52dB in normal household usage.

I bought this for an emergency power source as hurricane season arrived. I have tested it with heavy duty electrical appliances and it handle the load easily. Started on first pull. Relatively quiet. Eco mode worked well. Would have liked a fuel cutoff valve, but otherwise has everything needed.

I did a lot of research before deciding to purchase the Westinghouse iGen2200. I bought this to use with my RV and will buy another to run in parallel so I can power my air conditioner. The generator is easy to start, easy to use, and I haven't heard a similar generator any quieter. I'm very happy with this purchase and I recommend it!

I bought a different brand in the past, big mistake, for what I thought was ease of use and starting, but I was lucky to get it started at all, let alone an easy start. After putting in oil and gas in this unit, it not only started on one pull, but worked as expected. It is EXTREMELY quiet, so much so that my wife wants me to sell or give away our other generator and buy another Westinghouse. Another reason we now plan to buy another Westinghouse is the ability to pair the two together for more power.

My generator arrived today. I filled it with oil. It started up on the first pull. I tested it today with a 1500 watt heat gun, and it worked fine. Mine is to run a refrigerator from an extension cord after a hurricane. I'll test it using the refrigerator next.

Bought this to replace a larger generator that was simply too loud to use for long periods of time. Here on the Gulf Coast having a generator is a necessity and having one that's quiet is a plus. This generator is easy to set up, quick to start, incredibly fuel efficient, and most important of all, quiet. The unit as a whole feels well made and I don't think we'll have any issues with it lasting a while. Fingers crossed it won't get much use this summer.

Caveat: I have not run this unit yet. I received this recently and I am impressed by the clean design and portability of the unit. It's intended use is for running a sump pump during power outages, so I do not expect it to be used often. If it works well I that circumstance, I will upgrade to 5 stars.

I bought this to run our cabin on our farm. I am so impressed with the ease of starting this machine. Starts on the first pull and being a woman, it is super easy! It runs the lights, fans and tv at cabin with ease....and have I mentioned so quiet? So amazing!

We purchased two of these to parallel together to run our AC and microwave in our horse trailer! They worked great, were very quiet and used very little gas. We ran them from 10:30 at night until 8:00 in the morning, with the AC on all night long and they never ran out of gas!

I have been looking for a small generator for camping, this one is quiet and compact. I couldn't justify the price of the other brand name model... put oil and gas in it, started right up. going thru break in period now. good reviews, Westinghouse has reputation. Happy with purchase so far...
