I bought this because my power company shut off my circuit due to expected high winds. They then said they were going to de-energize it again for critical maintenance, but postponed the date (no word yet on the new date), but now I'm ready. I had to borrow a generator during the shut off.

Very pleased with this purchase. The iGen2200 is very quiet when running and even more so when in eco mode and generating only the power necessary to power the connected devices. Small and lightweight to carry for camping or anywhere really. Great value for the small investment.

I will be using this to power my camper and to power an electric grass trimmer. I just received this generator. I took it out of the box put in oil and filled the gas tank. Gave one pull of the rope and it started! Without being under load, it runs smoothe and quiet.

Unit was well packed; instructions were clear. I added the oil (using the provided filler tube), then added 87 octane gasoline with fuel stabilizer. Unit started on fourth pull and ran smoothly. We tend to use it chiefly for emergency backup. So far, quite pleased.

What more could you expect from a generator? It started immediately after unpacking and adding the oil and fuel. It has started easily every time since. It is too little power to run a marine or RV air conditioner, but it will keep everything else operating all night on a single tank of gas.

Decided to finally breakdown and buy a generator for home/recreational use. After reading many reviews decided on the Westinghouse as many favorable ratings and reviews. Decided I didn't want to pay 2X more for a large brand name for something I would be using more on an occasional use. Simple instructions on getting it ready, came with oil and oil spout for easy fill, gassed it up, few pulls, started right up. Used it for an hour or so, plan on more use in the coming months. Would give 5 stars after more use experience with it but for now extremely happy.

I just got this generator today and it is so simple and user friendly. It gives you the exact amount of oil to pour in, a funnel that screws into the oil fill, tools, and simple instruction manual. I am thoroughly impressed with Westinghouse as I had some doubts initially.

Bought for emergency use (lots of power outages here) plus convenient away-from-the-house power. Sufficient for power tools and quiet enough to leave on the back deck while I watch the big TV in the house instead of on my phone in the dark. 4 stars because I've only owned it for a while - but it seems to be the right stuff.

After doing a great deal of research, I purchased this generator. More than enough power to handle my tasks. Machine is quiet and offers enough outlets for my needs. I really like the retractable handle, something I missed seeing during my research.

I bought the iGen2200 generator 1 year ago but it was still at home because I hadn't had a need to use it. I just opened the box, followed all the instructions, oil, gas, etc before lighting. With the first attempt it is trying to turn on and it turned off in 5 seconds, then I tried a second time and from then on it does not turn on. It is probably something simple so I do not want to leave a bad review for now. I contacted Westinghouse and they told me to register the warranty and call them again. I hope to solve the problem and if the generator works well I will do a good review and give the comments
