I bought this generator to keep the batteries in my boat charged while taking a 2 week trip to the Voyageurs National Park on the Minnesota/Ontario border. It was quite and charged my batteries while I was having my lunch. I wasn't concerned with being "battery friendly" while on my camping trip. It was worth the time and effort to bring along and leave the concerns behind of wondering when are my batteries going to die. One less thing!

I always look for good, clear, concise documentation for power equipment, and this inverter came with very good manuals. The machine is easy to use, the break-in procedures were thorough, and I am very happy. The access cover is difficult to get the first time: some things are not obvious. The screw and control knob fell of during first use.

I live in Hurricane Alley, so getting a week without power happens too often. This unit is powerful, compact, easy to use, comparatively light and easy to store in between storms. It doesn't replace the regular power, but it's big enough to run the fridge, lights and fans, recharge phones, etc.

Arrived today, everything I needed to get it going was included in the box (except the gas). It even came with a screwdriver needed to remove the side panel to add the supplied oil. I added gas and it started on the second pull. I was very pleased with its operation. Happy customer!

We ordered this generator in August and it was delivered in September. It arrived the Monday before Hurricane Sally hit the Gulf Coast. We were without power for many hours. I had done the break-in cycle on it when it arrived, so it was ready to go. We plugged our freezer and refrigerator into it and it hummed along like a champ. It used maybe half a tank of gas keeping our food cold during the outage. The generator is light enough to carry if you're reasonably fit. Wheels and a rolling handle might be considerations for future versions. It ran quietly. Our backyard has a privacy fence, and from the front yard you could barely hear the hum. Many reviews state that the generator started up on the first pull. Ours did not. It started up on the 4th. I plan to get a second unit in the future. We have a large 10,000 watt generator but it is very loud and not easily portable. Two of these iGens would power just about anything we'd need to run for a reasonable amount of time on less fuel.

I bought this generator as part of a set to bridge and provide 40-50 amps for my travel trailer. I unboxed it, filled with oil and fuel. It started on the second pull and runs great. Connecting it using the bridging cables was easy and straight forward. The unit is exactly as advertised.

We purchased to use in our camper. Light weight and easy to transport. Works great for our camper. Quiet enough to not be invasive in the remote areas we camp. It has also been invaluable during the power outages we have been having due to high winds in the southwest.

I am happy with the generator.- I use it in a regular basis because our job is mobile window tinting installation for cars and we need power enough to fee heatguns demanding 13-to 15 amp of current fluently. My just complain is the size of the tank which is too small. (less a gallon) basically we need to keep gasoline in the car to be refill a time a week.- We would wish a bigger tank; at least 1.5 gallon like my old yamaha 2500i which dead after 18 years with us. I've had this generator for almost a year. It is easy to operate, makes minimal noise, and powers as advertised. I am a musician and use the generator primarily to power my PA system, but it's also on hand in case we have any power issues at home due to weather. If you're in the market for a generator of this wattage output, I highly recommend it!
