Unit was well packed; instructions were clear. I added the oil (using the provided filler tube), then added 87 octane gasoline with fuel stabilizer. Unit started on fourth pull and ran smoothly. We tend to use it chiefly for emergency backup. So far, quite pleased.

This is the quietest generator I have seen I have compared its noise level with other known brands and it beats them hands down. Will definitely be purchasing another with a parallel kit, you just can't get any quieter I don't believe and the volts are where they should be for running items of what ever you have within the watts that it produces. It started on the first pull after adding oil that's was provided with it and fuel. What more could a person ask for other then go purchase another.

The unit started and ran very well while i was doing the 5 hour break in period. The next time i tried to start the unit (a day later) - the recoil was locked up and would not allow me to pull it over. I submitted a service request and we will see what happens. Currently the unit is unusable.

I purchased this iGen2200 for emergency power at home as well for remote power of a small camper, it was just what the doctor ordered. Started right up and is very quiet, fuel consumption is acceptable, well constructed and I look forward to many years of use.

After many conversations, I bought this to replace my father's 40 year old generator. He needed something light enough that he could lift it in and out of his vehicle, would run the basic electrical items he wanted, and that was quiet. After the break in period I gave him the generator. He loves that he can run his microwave or an electric heater and it's still very quiet.

I couldn't be more pleased with this generator. The setup guide and owners manual are easy to read and include all the steps to get up and running quickly. The included oil and funnel was an added bonus that saved me a trip to get oil. I plan and running this generator stand alone and also in parallel with another iGen2200. I'm hoping for years of great service from these units.

I bought this to charge my 8 pontoon batterie, boatside and needed it to be quiet while doing so. As quite as my dishwasher from 15' feet. From 30' away it is barely audible. From out of box, reading quick start manual, adding oil and gas I was charging batteries in 5 minutes. Love the blue color. Fully charges 8 marine batteries on boat on tank of gas, less than 9 hours. Depends how long and fast on the boat (electric engine) I can pontoon for 15 hours, which is a week or long weekend)

Started right up! Concerns about the side/cover that needs to be removed to add/check oil. Two screws only, but several snap in rivets - not confident the cover will survive the necessary open/close to check oil before each use during the life of the warrantee.

Excellent generator, I'm 66 years old, meaning that weight matters to me. I am able to move it around with ease. The noise level is extremely low which makes using it for our small travel travel a pleasant experience. Set up is very simple, remove the side access panel, add oil and gas, it couldn't be easier. It started on the first pull and runs extremely smoothly. We have plenty of power for our use so life is good.

I did a lot of research before deciding to purchase the Westinghouse iGen2200. I bought this to use with my RV and will buy another to run in parallel so I can power my air conditioner. The generator is easy to start, easy to use, and I haven't heard a similar generator any quieter. I'm very happy with this purchase and I recommend it!
