I purchased this unit for an event that I was having at our home. I first saw this unit that a contractor had on site and used daily for their underground work. It appeared to work fine when I saw it being used and liked the quietness of the generator. I ordered the 2200 watt Westinghouse Generator and I hope to use it for camping and hunting adventures.

This is my second WH generator. The previous was also a 2200 watt, just different model. We had a power outage at our house in January in Colorado. For 8 hours my generator powered light and space heaters, providing a comfortable environment until it came back on line. The fact that you can move them around and pair them together, make these a must for back up and portable power!

I just got this igen2200 and I'm glad I did. Too often in todays market products just don't quite cut it - something is missing, the manual is incomplete and/or in broken English. Westinghouse has done an admirable job of designing and delivering a generator that works as well as I wanted it to, with all the right parts, manual and tools. This has been properly thought out and has exceeded my expectations for appearance, setup and operation. Within minutes my igen2200 was running and powering my emergency equipment in a successful test. It starts easily and reliably and delivered the power it promises.

Turned on the energy saver and plugged in a 5000 BTU air conditioner on high cool and the engine doesn't even rev up. Can have a conversation right next to it without yelling. Have it for a minivan with a 10'x10' enclosed tent over the hatchback and can run air cond., lights, fan and run on economy mode for about 15 hours on a tank of gas. Excellent inverter! You can twice as much for a Honda but why? Bought the extended warrenty. Love it!!!

Bought for in-laws to run lamps and TV but most importantly an oxygen machine during emergency situations. Great little machine that I can throw in the truck quickly and keep them going QUIETLY!!! This thing is super quiet so it doesn't disturb anyone, even if running all night. Well pleased!!!

I bought this 2 1/2 years ago and used it during several power outages - fire seasons in California… - and it delivers. I set up a couple of water sprinklers pressure fed by a 1/2 HP jet pump and the Igen2200 handles the pump surge at the start with no issues. I can feed a small AC unit, a fridge and a chess freezer and a fan during the power outage no problem. That's all I ask of a generator. But if I were to use it camping, I could add the benefits of it being relatively quiet and easy to move. Lastly, I find it user friendly, so far as start up and maintenance.

Generator came 6 weeks early and in great shape. I was afraid it would languish on a container ship all winter!! It was nicely packaged and directions were straight forward. Have not started it yet, I need to get fresh gas first! I'm sure it will be a smooth operator!

Had this for a while but never had to pull it out of the box. This summer we had numerous windstorms that took down trees and power lines. Left without power I pulled this out of the box and followed the simple instructions to get this generator running. 15 minutes later this very quiet inverter generator was purring away. As it warmed up, I ran my extension cords to the fridge and freezer. I don't think it blinked when I plugged them in. It ran most of the day and I still had gas in the tank. Great mileage! :-) I'm so thankful that I had this unit on hand. It started the first time on the second pull. This great little product blew me away. Excellent quality and value.

This is my first gasoline generator, which I decided to buy after the snowpocalypse of 2020 happened in Texas. I wanted to be prepared for the coming winter this year in case the grid decides to shut down again in the freezing temperatures. The features of this generator are amazing! I was really worried about the potential dangers of using a gasoline generator, but the safety features on this one help put my mind at ease. The Output Ready, Overload, and Low Oil LEDs as well as the Digital Data Center are super helpful for keeping up with the status of your generator while it's running. I like that the generator automatically switches off all AC output if it does become overloaded or if there is a short circuit in anything connected to it. I also love that there is an eco mode to reduce noise and fuel consumption; this is great for both the user and the environment! I find the USB outlets helpful as well in case you need to charge something such as a phone, computer, emergency light, or anything else that has a USB Type A plug. It is so good to finally have my mind put a little more at ease knowing we will be able to easily and safely operate essential appliances if needed during an emergency power outage.

I bought this for both jobsite work and camping. So far I've only used it for camping and it works as advertised. It has all of the features of the Honda and Yamaha generators I considerable less money. Although not as quiet as the Honda, it's still quiet enough.
