I bought this inverter/generator as a gift for my son. Prior to delivering it to him, I added the supplied oil to crankcase and added the recommended fuel. With little effort, the engine started after the third pull of the cord. The engine ran smoothly and with little exhaust noise for 20 min, after which I shut it down. Very pleased with the performance of this machine. I will probably buy one for myself!

I bought this a few weeks ago for our off grid cabin. It works wonderfully and is so quiet! We have been able to run a dorm refrigerator, ceiling fan, exhaust fan, all of the lights, and plan to use it for a small AC unit this summer. Very happy. My only complaint - the very first time we removed the right panel to add the engine oil, one of the clips holding the panel in place broke. I have some serious concerns that this will not be robust long-term, and I'm wondering how worried I need to be.

We bought a pair of 1Gen2200 generators so we could use them individually with small loads and pair them up for larger loads. What a terrific idea! We're very pleased. These units are lightweight, whisper quiet, and easy to start. We couldn't ask for more.

Started on 2nd pull. Runs just about as quite as the red brand. I would have given it 5 stars but it has a slight clanging sound coming from the recoil on the pull starter. Hope this does not become an issue later. For now it is almost not noticable.

I can't believe how easy this generator is to start. Right out of box it started on first pull and started every time since on first pull. Runs my grinders and shop equipment easily. Really like this nice quiet generator. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Installed the high altitude kit for our farm at 4000'. The unit came to life after following the instructions for the first start on the second pull. Was very surprised just how quite this unit really is. I also was surprised at the geared pull rope. It didn't take much effort at all. Especially with arthritic shoulders! Now in the middle of the break-in period, moving the power cord about the house-lol. This unit will run everything we need in our tiny home. I hope we never have to use it but its peace of mind knowing we have this generator for our backup energy needs. PS: found out after the purchase my nephew has an electric start Westinghouse gen for backup. Also, my brother is getting one for his new home. Both live in northern Maine.

I've done all sorts of research, reading and watching reviews. This little machine is perfect for what I needed. I have a larger generator, I wanted a little portable one that has many functions. The fact that I can just throw in the truck and go. I use for construction sites to operate power tools and airless sprayer. Generator starts on first pull, and is so quiet. Highly recommended!

The iGen2200 is working great so far. It quickly started up in about 2 pulls. It's relatively quiet. I have only run it for about 1 hour so far. It is able to power my gas furnace(~800W, 15amp). I had an electrician connect an EZ Generator switch to my breaker/furnace. I did ground it since it has a floating neutral and the electrician thought it might help based on what he was seeing for the power coming out of the generator. I decided to use an 8ft 5/8 copper grounding rod. The neutral connection on the back of the generator is small. I'm not sure what gauge wire they are expecting us to use. Since I am in the mid-west, I opted to use the 5w30 full synthetic for the oil during the colder months. I bought Stabil to add to the fuel (87 no ethanol) to make that last longer.

I bought this a month ago before having electrical work done on our house. We knew we would be without electricity and our whole house generator for a day and our sump pump, which runs A LOT, would be down and would cause a flood in the basement. We took it out of the box, and prepped it accordingly and it started right up with one pull and ran the entire day. I would highly recommend this unit.

I bought this product expecting it to be a little bit hard to set up and a bit noisier than they said it would be but I am quite surprised it was quite easy to set up and while on half load sitting right next to it I was able to watch a YouTube video and hear it over my phone
