I bought this generator due referrals from acquaintances. After filling it with oil, and gas, I pull the selector switch in choke position, it took 7 pulls to get the gas to the carburetor to start the motor. I was delighted to here how quiet it ran, no tinny banging or eardrum compressing sound! I ran it for one hour after the first start, and did plug in a box fan to use some amperage.

I was updating from a (store brand) 800/900 2-cycle standard generator. I wanted quiet and clean and more power. While the 2200 is probably not quite big enough to run my RV AC, it will easily run everything else. And, at 50 vs 100lbs for a bigger unit, this is something I can manage for those times when I need it. I'm anxious to start boondocking and give it a workout.

The generator came with oil and a funnel. Easy to start. The access cover on the side has two screws plus some snap-in plastic pins that will hold it in place without the screws. The snap in pins were quite tight. One thing missing from the unit is an hour meter to help time oil changes. The user manual is detailed and calls for 50 hour oil changes.

I just bought this due to the constant power outages in Southern California. I was able to prepare the generator and get it started in no time. I'm so happy I made this purchase. This generator is giving me peace of mind and knowing that I can take you on a trip or use at home for outages and emergencies.

Has all the bells and whistles, incredibly easy to start, remarkably quiet, easily portable and so much more than I expected. I had in the back of our truck cab and my daughter didn't even see it ...camo!! Worked great on our first two camping trips and I have nothing bad to say about it.

I have an old style 3500W generator... very loud, and heavy to move around. Needed something better, and this iGen2200 was perfect. After adding the oil, it was easy to start. Had it running to break it in with very little gas, it ran for almost an hour! Not very loud, I will be able to run it at night without the neighbors hearing it. Now it gets stored for its inevitable use.

Fired it up for about 30 minutes and it worked great. It did take quite a few pulls to get it initially started but I'm thinking it just needed to get fuel through the line cause I started it up a few times after I shut it off the first time and it fired up with the first pull.

Used it on campout for week at national parks; quiet for a generator, and about as light as can be expected. Ran two in parallel to power a 28' travel trailer. Glad I grabbed two smaller ones than one large one, since they're easier to get/in out of vehicle.

Well our power finally went out and had a chance to break this out. It was super-easy to set up. Unscrew 2 screws, pop the side, fill with provided oil and screw-on funnel, fill with gas, pull the cord. This is my first generator and I thought it was loud. From my research I thought an inverter was supposed to quieter, which I assume it is, but it was still loud. We have thin walls and we put it 15' from the door, but it sounded like someone was mowing right outside our door. Again, my first generator, so no comparison, but you definitely wouldn't want to run this in the mountains near anyone. However, glad we had it when we needed it. Just hope it didn't bother the neighbors too much :)

Great system, we bought the generator WH22000 for Hurricane Florence. this little one was running my refrigerator and charging all our phones, tablets and laptop without hesitation, extremely quiet and the economy is awesome. Love it, thinking about getting the iGen4500 for the next Hurricane season.
