I'm 64 and just filled this baby with oil and gas and did the pre-run as per the instructions (which were spot on btw). I added fuel stabilizer to my gas can so I am ready to go if I loose electricity. I feel so much better knowing I have this back up generator.

I bought this generator to keep my fridge and freezer working during a power outage. My old generator was louder than the hurricane! This one is surprisingly quiet. I just added the oil provided and some non ethanol gas. It started first pull. That works for me. I plugged in a 1250 watt blow dryer from the 1990s to put a load on the motor. The blow dryer was louder than the generator. I'm initially very pleased with this product and hope it lasts for a while.

I purchased the I2200 Generator invertor May 28th ,2023 and I'm super happy with the way it starts up and powers all my stuff when I'm out camping with the family. I now don't need to worry about my other portable Jackery 300 & 1000 invertors running out of power as i have this as a huge backup. soo happy with the purchase.

Received my generator, added oil, filled it up with fuel, and it started on the first pull. I ran it with a roll around air condition unit and it ran 5 continuous hours without any hesitation. I will be purchasing another to put them in parallel. I am extremely impressed. Thank you Westinghouse for an excellent product.

This is the first generator I ever bought. I've used them quite a bit at work. I got it to mostly power My food in the two fridges in the freezer we have in case we have power outages since there's a lot of money in there I. did some research online combined with the owners manual and decided to do a 5 hour break in. I saw some guys recommending that they just left it idling for 1 to 5 hours but just like my car and from some other recommendations I decided to vary the speeds. Actually the owners manual says to do that also. I kept it under 900 w. I wasn't sure how to do that so I went and got one of those plug-in watt meters which was really nice. The blow dryer and a heat gun work perfectly. I varied between all the hi/low cool/warm/hot settings and was able to get it to go from about 100 w all the way to about just under 900 w. I'd run anywhere from about a minute to five minutes or so under load and then idle it for 10-15 minutes or so And let it cool down. I used high-octane 93 gas. With some fuel stabilizer in case it sits there for a little while. After the break in I also added some oil additive to my full synthetic 5W-30. One thing I wanted to do but forgot was use conventional 10W-30 for the break in. But I accidentally used my full synthetic for the first two hours.. I also bought a magnetic oil cap because that supposed to capture the oil shavings during the break in time. .When I first started it it was a pretty good cloud of smoke for a couple minutes. And it was a little rough. But once it got rolling it seemed to run pretty smooth. For some reason when I Used about 350 W on the blow dryer it ran a little uneven and rough even at the very end of the break in period so I'm not sure what that's about.. But during the last 15 minutes [after the 5 hrs] when I went full blast on the dryer it was up to 1600 W and sounding really smooth and also smooth idling. That was on my final oil change with the full synthetic and I even put a little additive in there One thing I was a little surprised about was how loud it was. Everyone talked about how whisper quiet was so I was a little surprised but I think that's because our work ones were a little quieter. I'm really happy with it so far. I hope it lasts. I tried to do everything I could during the break and to make it last for a long time

Quick start guide was easy to follow. Added the oil and gas per instructions. Easy pull and start. Plugged my freezer into the generator and ran for approximately 30 minutes. Held the freezer door open to force a refrigeration cycle. Generator powered the load without apparent effort. Since I purchased this as an inexpensive quiet backup generator to handle selected items such as freezer/refrigerator I am very happy thus far. The IGen2500 has additional features such as fuel and power level but I didn't require that.

Needed another one to run my camper ac. Received it today, added oil and some gas, turned on and let sit for a minute or two, turned to choke, ONE PULL and STARTED!!! Let it run a minute or two, shut off, put things away, turned to on, one pull and started again. Waiting for a parallel chord now so I can hook up and run the camper ac.

I bought this little generator a couple of weeks ago. While it's not as quiet as some of the other brand's comparable generators, it was also only about 1/4 the cost. It has started on the first pull each time I have used it (4-5 times at least). I love the drain tube that came pre-installed on the carb too! I have no regrets about getting this unit & would definitely recommend it based on my experience with it so far. I do recommend purchasing a magnetic dipstick to use with it to help prevent any issues with any metal shavings you may get in the oil, especially during the break-in period.

I purchased this Gen about a month ago. It will be my off-grid shore power, when my RV project is complete. I set it up today & cranked it up. On the 2nd full compression & it started right up. I let it run for about 15 minutes on Eco. I turned it off & it started right back up. I didn't put a load on it.

I ordered this generator on Nov 29,2021 and got it four days later as expected. Shipping handled really well, just like I picked it up from the local store. I am running a test right now. No problem setting up and start it right away as instructed. I would definitely recommend to my friends to buy this generator.
