i am very impress how powerful this Generator is. very easy to set it up with the oil included on a bottle and the tools required. after you add oil, just add gasoline and ready . i enjoy that is not loud and three year limited warranty . I highly recommend this generator to my friends and those that runs out of power do to the storms .

Irecieved my IGen 2200 1 week ago today read instructions added provided oil and fresh non ethanol gas but could not get it to crank.Doubled checked oil level generator was on level concrete loosened vent cap checked spark plug and air filter . after letting unit rest multiple times I finally got it to crank but it would only run in start/choke position. no matter how long it ran if you moved off choke even a little bit it would die . this is without load and eco throttle off. Could not get help from support number and today makes 5 days since I called and recieved a case #.and a promise of a call back. Other observations I noticed were a loose main control knob and,metal fragments drained out from carburetor bowl from attached drain line when checking to see if gas was in the carburetor. Spark plug was poorly aligned with access port and was installed so tight from factory that supplied tool would not remove it. I have returned it and will try something different.

I bought this generator 2 years ago for camping. It got very little use over the two years but it worked well when we did use it. This year the pull cord broke. The design for the pull cord is horrible, the spool is in the middle of the generator and I could not get to the last bolt holding it in. It cost me $129 at the repair shop to get the pull cord replaced. To add insult the shop said that the gas tank had a leak due to corrosion and they could not get a new gas tank to replace it.

I bought this online and got it the 24th of this month put oil and gas that was recommended for it. Started and ran for 3 seconds then quit did this a dozen times. Made sure it was getting gas to carburetor bowl. Only other thing I could think it would be is the kill switch is hung or broken

Works very well and quite quiet. It powered two refrigerators during a recent Pacific Gas and Electric 40 hour outage Likes: starts with one easy pull. Westinghouse includes a funnel for adding the oil. Easy to add gas to the wide-mouth gas tank. Powered my two refrigerators during a recent 40 hour power outage. Not whisper quiet, but much less noise than my neigbor's beast. Dislikes: No oil drain plug - you're supposed to empty the oil out by tipping this 50 pound device on it's side into a pan. Doesn't sound like fun. Heavy - sure, it's portable, but when filled with gas and oil, it is too heavy for my wife to lift. Hard to check the oil level, which you are instructed to do each time you use it. You have to loosen two scews, then pry a plastic panel off the side to get to the oil dip stick, which is way down on the bottom of the generator. And trust me - bring a papertowel because oil will seep out. Tips: The oil that comes with the unit is just the right amount for your first filling. You'll need a flashlight to see the oil level. If you restart your generator when it is still warm from running, try starting it without the choke - mine wouldn't restart with the choke engaged after a gas refill.

I bought this little gem to replace my noisy Generac 2000 watt unit. I am really impressed with this generator. It usually starts on the first or second crank and it is very quiet. It handles my 6000 BTU air conditioner with no problem and also runs the lights in my deer lease cabin. It is so quiet that I can set it up only 25' from my cabin versus 100' for the Generac Xi

I bought this and was pleased with how easy it was to setup and get going. Unfortunately, it doesn't have enough power to run my small compressor. Frustrating because I settled for a smaller compressor due to this unit size. I spent a lot of time researching these things too. Live and learn. That being said, I was very pleased with the prompt delivery from Sam's too. It had come in faster than I expected, which is unusual these days.

First off, I would like to thank Samsclub for being extremely helpful in the return process. Unfortunately, this brand new generator is a dud. I followed the instructions, added oil, fresh gas (non-ethanol even), choke on, fuel vent on. I crank on the generator and it runs for a second. I crank it again and it doesn't even attempt to run. If I let it sit for a few minutes and try again, it may run for a second or two. Check for fuel in the carburetor bowl and all is good there. Finally, I came back to the reviews on this generator and in the last two weeks, a bunch of other people were having the same issue! Westinghouse put out a batch of bad generators. I called Westinghouse customer service and after being on hold for 10 minutes twice, I was hung up on, TWICE. Poor quality generator, poor customer service. FYI, this generator design is used in many other brands as it is outsourced from China. I'm upset to get rid of it, but it looks like i'll be paying to bucks to get a reputable HONDA generator.

Great generator! This is the second year to use at deer camp. Works great. The other night went to start and the pull cord broke. It still should be under the 3 year warranty, but will have to see if they fix it. Will have to look up to see who to call.

Did some research prior to purchasing, was looking for a small Gasoline Inverter Generator to power my pellet stove when we lose power. This was a great one without breaking “breaking the bank” on a huge generator. Plus it will be great for camping/travel if needed!
