Bought my igen 1500 c three months ago and never opened till I was going camping. It turned out to be a cold night and camping without any power. I used the heater not knowing it would use battery power. Woke up to no power at all, nervous about the generator I had to try . Followed start process and it started a few easy pulls later. Hooked up to the battery and after a couple of hours it was fully charged, a 400 watt hr. Battery.so quiet it was like a sleeping app. So happy with my choice so light my 70 year old wife carried it to put away. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family,you won't be disappointed

This generator seems to be well designed and supplies the power it specifies. I plugged my daughters 1800 watt hair dryer in and it worked fine.I am going to use this as backup power for a refrigerator/ freezer, pellet stove, lights and possibly the TV. I did test this out and it powered all these items with no problem. The specifications on there web site says it supplies power at a THD rating of less than 3 percent however the manual has a THD rating of less than 5 percent? It would be nice if Westinghouse would bring some of there manufacturing back to the USA though.

I just powered up my iGen2200 today and don't have much experience so far. A screw driver is required remove 2 screws to open the side compartment to add or check oil. I'm used to generators with a one screw side panel that can open with a coin. I guess I'll keep a screw driver around. I also noticed when filling the oil that the electronics is not fully potted like some other competing products. Time will tell if there are reliability issues or not, but it got me to fill out my warranty registration. The generator started on the first pull and ran an 1800 watt hair dryer. At this point, it looks like an excellent value.

This is my second Westinghouse generator I've purchased in the last 10 days! I previously purchase a wgen 9500df which I absolutely love! I've always wanted a small unit to keep in truck, take on ATV, ETC. this is another exceptional unit offered by Westinghouse, ease of starting, and complete functionality makes this another great purchase, these are not my first generator units by far, but I believe these will be with me for years to come, thank you Westinghouse… AGAIN

We have a small camper with a 5,000 btu AC. This runs the AC and appliances with no issues. Just what we've been looking for!

I bought this unit to power electronics on construction sites. Its a great product that is quiet and dependable.

I bought this last week, it started right up after putting the supplied oil and gas. Runs great, is quite and has great power for it's size and weight.

runs great as expected. not too noise. item net weight 27lb maybe too heavy for portable type. filled with oil provided. will replace with full systhetic oil afterwards.

We really like this generator. Very easy to start. 1 pull and it starts. Its very quiet too. We take it camping with us. No maintenance. It sits in our shed all winter, and it starts right up in Spring.

Works very well and very light weight, runs rope lights and a couple of leds for our outdoor tent that we use for cookoffs. Also runs quite! Glad i bought it!
