From the time I received and prepared this unit for its first use, it has failed to start for me. I have had it since July and still cannot get it to start. I have gone through the Operator's Manual thoroughly and have watched may online videos to try and troubleshoot the problem. I have reached out to Westinghouse and hopefully, this will help me without sending me to a Service Center that is 50 miles away from where I live. Hopefully, this gets resolved so I can amend this review to a good one, but for now, the unit is worthless.

I bought 2 and neither would run, the seller sent me 2 replacements and 1 of the replacements ran 1 did not. They sent me a fifth and I finally had 2 generators that run after 3 months of dealing with it. At this point I wish I could just get my money back because after receiving 3 out of 5 that wouldn't run brand new out of the box, I am very skeptical about how long they will last without any problems.

We initially bought this generator to have a quiet generator when camping - for fans, small electronics and the like. However, our first real use was the Great Texas Ice Storm of 2022. This little beauty kept our refrigerator (with expensive meds), our electric ignitor for our gas fireplace, our ATT fiber access point and router and our various mobile electronics going. A full tank lasted 10 hours on this load. It was just enough power to start the refrigerator (barely - but did it). Once the compressor had been running a while in the refrigerator, it restarted even with all the rest of the load going - guess it need an initial warming up from the cold as a hard start. It ran through several gallons of regular gas without a hiccup. We ran trufuel through at the end to prevent any ethanol damage as we store it for the next use. Very glad to have this.

It worked well & we got through 15 hours of down time with only 1 fill-up at the 11 hour mark. The instructions are confusing though. If this is true: "Everything you need is in the box The iGen2200 also comes with Oil, Funnel, Tool Kit, Manual, and Quick Start Guide," then where is the grounding kit per "Be sure the inverter is properly connected to earth ground before operating (User Manual, p. 11)? It took me a couple hours to find a place that could make one for me.
