Wow! Amazing!

I completed the food intolerance test for myself and both my children. We had been told we did not have food allergies after having the poke test on the back performed. Yet we continued to experience systems that could not be explained. I discovered that we each have about 20 mild food intolerances. Most of them were the same for all 3 of us, but many were different as well. I'm so relieved that we can now remove the proper foods from our diets, instead of guessing as we were doing before. I had a feeling that gluten was a culprit, and it was. But there were so many others that we can now monitor/eliminate as well.

Valuable only if actively eating all foods on list

Because IgG levels decline when not exposed to an allergen, the Food Sensitivity test can be misconstrued. I know I am highly sensitive to gluten (e.g., in white, rye, barley and hidden in soy and other ingredients) but my results came back as mild sensitivity. I've been off gluten for over 8 years. I was also well aware of sensitivity to cow dairy, just by experiencing symptoms, and I think it's higher than my IgG levels indicate, since I also mostly avoid it. Bottom line is I am going to try to eliminate a few of the unexpected things on my mild sensitivity list, but overall, this was not that useful for the money (for me).

I highly recommend Everlywell.

I was introduced to Everlywell by a family member who used the product and the recommended it. I have had digestive issues and it never occured to me that I could have food sensitivities. I can trust the results are accurate and that the shipping is secure.

Yes, I would purchase again.

Hi! I'm a very to the cuff reviewer. Trying to be honest, as I am doing this to support consumers, their purchases and the company. The company is professional, the kit was clean and easy. There was no fasting which was one question I had, (why? Or why not?) Not much blood was needed, as other labs request, which is unnecessary on an outside lab approach. So my sensitivities at this point in life and that is how I look at it: Brewers yeast(beer), bakers yeast(bread). Beer gives me headaches so I avoid it, easy to do. Bakers yeast can be eliminated by using sourdough starter which I can do. The jury is still out on that one. Nutritional yeast I can also avoid. Wish there were suggestions as possibilities to proceed forward while Eliminating these items, especially one as difficult as bakers yeast. Was also fascinated by the idea of cross allergic reactions due to environment. I live in one of the densest foliage also mushroom capital of the world and was left with questions as to how this environment might impact my health. This test will be considered a start to thinking only and not a sure fire one hundred percent approach to health as nothing is. Science has lots of questions, and good science does. For what this test offers it is a start to better nutrition only, and for myself Will approached this way. All in all a good product.

Interesting, but...

I found my results to be interesting, but with a caveat. The way I read the results was that they're basically inconclusive. If I hadn't had a particular type of food, then it won't necessarily register. I know I'm sensitive to wheat and corn, but those two items barely registered on my test. Well, in reading through the analysis, I found a sentence that basically says the above. Since I know I'm sensitive, I avoid wheat and corn, and that's why they don't register. This could really mislead someone. With that said, I found some surprises, like yeast. As soon as I read that, I thought, "Of course!" It made perfect sense. So, it's a good test, and they're quick, but there is the above caveat.

Wow, could have taken forever

Could have started an elimination diet that could have taken forever to identify, if I didn't know where to start. I m glad I took the test to find that Im highly sensitive to Cows Milk, yogurt, Mozzarella and egg whites. Ive started my journey to eliminate and find substitute for these everyday items. Hasn't been easy, but a lot easier than eliminating certain foods for 3weeks over and over to identify what Im highly sensitive too. Sharing my new journey with friends has started new conversations about, how taking this simple test, may change their lives.

This test has helped tremendously

I constantly felt sick and had various symptoms like heartburn, itching, bloating and knew something must have been up. I had cut out gluten prior to this test, and it sure did show that I was sensitive to that, along with a few other things I had no idea about. Since cutting those foods out, I have slowly started to feel better.

Easy to use test and very informative

This test was so helpful to me! I had a feeling many things in my diet were bothering me and hated the idea of doing a broad elimination diet. After receiving my results, I know exactly which foods to begin eliminating from my diet. Highly recommend! One thing to note though, if you have already removed some foods from your diet because you have a *real* allergy to them, this test will NOT detect those. For example, I'm very allergic to bananas so I don't eat them. In this type of test, it shows up as an item that I can eat because it didn't detect any kind of immune response to it (because it wasn't there at all). Just keep that in mind. Other than that, very informative test and I plan to use these results to fine tune my diet!

Excellent!

I have been tested for years using the end point titration method and was curious to see how this compared. The results were very similar, however this test gave me many more food results than what I have had in the past. I can now work on eliminating foods I was unaware.

No regrets

I've been having stomach issues lately and couldn't figure out what the food was causing the issue. I am highly allergic (anaphylactic- IgE) to all peanuts and nuts, but since I have never eaten these foods I wasn't sure if they would show up as a reaction for a IgG test. My one highly reactive food was walnuts and the two moderate reactive foods were coconut and cashew. I have never eaten walnuts or cashews, but coconut is a big part of my diet (coconut milk, yogurt, and water) . Coconut is not an allergy for me (it is not a nut despite the name), but now I know I may be sensitive to it. I am going to try eliminating it from my diet for a while to see if my stomach issues stop. Never would have thought it was the coconut. Also, I used my FSA to buy this test. I requested an itemized receipt, submitted it, and the transaction cleared with no issues.
