- 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/8/2018I have used other food sensitivity tests. This test is by far the best for price and fast results, also ease of use. What I am having a problem with is the way the test results are posted. It is a bit confusing. What to stay away from? I understand severe and moderate reactions, what about the low? mild? I also do not understand the numbers (percentages)??
Not sure
tamrab63Originally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/9/2019I found that the test was accurate with what I couldn't eat. I had a suspicion that eggs were going to be one of the worst, and it was at the top of the list, so high in the "high reactivity" column. I started cutting them out and my digestion has improved.
This has helped tremendously
MacRareOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase11/20/2017I'm glad they had the new needles that were the "heavy duty" ones (for lack of a better word). For my first kit last year I had to use all of my needles and they just didn't get the job done well enough. This time around, I didn't have to use scissors to get blood! Gross I know, but it's true.
Happy with the new kit additions!
ElisaOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/2/2022This is a fantastic test. I am a Physician and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who has suspicions that they have non IgE/atypical food intolerances. It was absolutely spot on. I am changing my diet to see if it helps reduce my fatigue and migraines.
Great product. Worth the money.
KarenOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/6/2018The testing kit was very easy to use and I received my results very quickly. The text alert that my results were finished was very handy. I did the food sensitivity test and it would be nice to have a better understanding of what to do with the results however
Fast and efficient
MikeOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/21/2021The product arrived quickly with detailed instructions. I am interested in more products like this because of the long wait times in doctor offices, labs and the basic overall care test that they prescribe due to the limits insurance put on on health care. A simple blood test does not open the key to real problems in our health. Digging deeper into the plasma is needed and insurance should step it up. Like contributing the cost for test like these. It's not cheap world be my down side with this economy but we'll worth the education.
Much Needed Intel
DixieOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase2/4/2019I never thought I would be highly sensitive to green beans! It's crazy. And no surprise that I'm also moderately sensitive to milk and cheese. I can feel it when I take those. Overall, it's very interesting and informative to learn about what you are sensitive to. I'm planning to do an elimination test this month.
Good to know!
PriscillaOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase11/20/2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was definitely nervous about the finger stick and doing it correctly, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I liked that you get updates throughout the process (e.g. test has arrived at the lab) and I got my results the same week they arrived at the lab. I've suspected I have some food sensitivities for a while, and I tried an elimination diet to figure out to what, but everything was inconclusive. And it turns out I "passed" some foods that I actually have low level sensitivities to. I suspect each food on it's own may be fine for me, but packing multiple into the same meal or day was adding up to a problem. My affects aren't acute so it was hard to track back to the cause...
Fast track information to inform your food choices
StephOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase12/21/2018I was a bit surprised at the foods that were at the top of my list. They are foods I don't eat too often, but foods I do love and had just ate the weekend prior to the blood sample I mailed in. I never would have thought that lobster crab and shrimp would have begun at the moderate level. I have read different reviews regarding thus type of testing and am not sure how I feel as using it as a guide now.
Not sure yet
ArchyOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/30/2018The product was easy to use and the results were equally easy to read. I wish there were a few other foods tested. We do a lot of gardening, and many of the foods that I eat frequently were not on the list of 96. Some of the foods I tested as not being as sensitive to, I have been really sensitive to in the past- so my gut must be healing a little. Praise God.
Easy, affordable
John 7:17Originally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/29/2018The process is easy and fast and the information is helpful. I'll make a few dietary adjustments based on the results. Anyone who is considering eliminating certain foods from their diet should probably start with this kind of test, rather than guessing.
Helpful information and fast results too
J. Happy to Be HealthyOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase6/15/2019The test was so easy to do! The kit came with everything I needed and the directions were simple! I get a little nervous with shots and needles, so I was hesitant when I saw this test required a blood sample. However, getting a blood sample was SO easy for me to do. The little tool/finger pricker that came with the kit was great. Easy to use and the needle retracts back inside the device, so I didn't even see a needle or have to worry about how I would dispose of it. My test results came back quickly! I loved receiving the status updates on my test by text! I always knew I had sensitivities to some foods & this test helped me recognize which foods are problematic for me. I would definitely recommend trying any of the tests from EverlyWell. ...
Simple & So Informative!
HFinOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/4/2019Doctor recommended trying a gluten free diet for some chronic issues. If that would solve them, great!. Going gluten free, just to see IF that would help is a huge outlay of time, energy and money. This gave me the answer - as well as insights to other foods - much quicker.
Fast, accurate, peace of mind.
MomoOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/10/2019I had consulted with my allergist about the test and she stated that my doctor was had a series of letters after her name indicating her field being in Obstetrics and Gynecology - needless to say, I was a bit skeptical about results, but they made some sense so I'm now eliminating the high and moderate reactivity (thankfully only 3 listed) and will try in 4 weeks to see how I feel. Thanks for the information!
I am finding it helpful
CynthiaOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase7/22/2021I was diagnosed with eosinophilia esophagitis a few months ago and my gastro referred me to an allergist. Apparently there is some sort of allergen that aggravates this condition. The allergist couldn't definitely determine what I was "allergic" to (she never tested for wheat or dairy despite those being the primary allergens). She told me to go without "stuff". I heard about this test from my daughter and wow - high sensitive to wheat...which explains a lot. Since my daughter was already on a gluten free diet, I just followed her meals for the two weeks I was visiting her and poof - my gastro issues have improvised greatly.
Gave me answers the allergist could not.
Grandma RitaOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase11/14/2017So simple and easy. Clear directions in the test kit. Speedy turnaround for the process. And a fantastic dashboard that clearly displays results and provides additional context and information. Ive had stomach issues for awhile and couldnt pinpoint the culprit through traditional elimination diets. This test revealed my extreme sensitivity to malt, which has been so helpful. Now I finally know how to adjust my diet!
I've recommended it to several people already!
HelenOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/30/2018I think the best thing about this service is the freedom to take this test whenever you have time. Typically your scheduling for an office appointment to just then have to go to a lab to get blood drawn and then of course wait. Take all this out of the equation with this service all you have to do is ship it back. Your results is in a great easy to read format as well!
Take on your time
DanjcoOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase12/19/2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a place to start, with an elimination diet plan. If foods come back as normal, I don't need to waste my time eliminating those. The ones that are numbered highest are the ones I have eliminated. I grew up on a dairy farm, so I was surprised there was so much dairy that came back as abnormal. But as I gave up those cheeses, my eczema went away. Was it worth it? I think so! I have a few more foods to eliminate and see how I feel. I'm sure I will try some other tests as well. It was easy to do. The kit was all I needed. I have recommended it to several friends. Two that have the kit right now!
I would try another test, for sure.
dthorOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/1/2019I was a little skeptical but after getting a common cold and breaking out in a full blown rash and the doctor told me I have a cold and the virus caused my "allergy" to show and sent me on my way home. Thats when I ordered the test in hopes to get any answers. The whole process was so easy. I always had some idea that I may have some intolerance to dairy and sure enough when the test came back I had a high intolerance to dairy! I would defiantly recommend this test if you think you have an allergy or intolerance
Very impressed
TaylorOriginally posted oneverlywell.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/14/2019I thought the results were great! I knew dairy was my main culprit and the test showed it. I was also surprised by some of the others too but it really helped me to eliminate certain foods from my diet and help get my life back from years of tummy issues. There may not be medical studies to prove, but I am medical and I feel like some of the medical ways to treat are not always right for everyone. Would highly recommend!
Great information
