Interesting, to say the least.

My mom actually bought this for me. I've been having issues for about 2.5 years now, and we have been to multiple doctors and I've had many tests run.. all coming back with nothing helpful. I've cut out gluten and a couple other things (mainly gluten, which includes wheat, rye, barley, and malt). Taking this test, it came back saying that I had a "mild" sensitivity to 15: - Almond - Banana - Barley - Bay Leaf - Blueberry - Bran - Carrot - Crab - Gluten - Orange - Soybean - Wheat - Yeast (bakers) - Yeast (brewers) - Yoghurt Of which, I've cut out / do not eat around 8 of. The reactions and symptoms I get when I eat gluten, wheat, rye, etc. is far worse than "mild" in my opinion - and if it is in fact "mild", then I feel terrible for those who have moderate or high sensitivity to anything. Speaking to a few people who have schooling in this field, they explained further to me that sensitivities are harder and more complicated to understand than a simple test. That I'd have to take it more than once to get accurate results, and that if I wanted to truly know what my sensitivity level to gluten and such other foods... I should eat some bread right before taking the test, as I have not had gluten or anything containing it for a long time. Too long for me to have any true exposure reaction level on this test. Even though it did show that I was sensitive to it. ... So I'd be interested in retaking the test under the same circumstances and controls, and then take another test after eating some bread (and regretting it), to see if either of my results differ. Needless to say, this sensitivity test has actually given me results on something I had thought now for a long time but was unable to prove in any way shape or form, through other tests I have done.

A Solid Place to Start

I have known that the food I eat was something that was holding my wellness back and I have done elimination diets in the past and I had trouble with reintroduction. But I truly think that having a solid place to start on an elimination diet is amazing! I am a science nerd at heart so this testing is just what my brain needed to give myself a place to start

Self-help preventative diagnostics - because doctors don't

Let's face it, doctors don't do personalized preventative things. "Don't smoke, drink in moderation, eat healthy, exercise, get your flu shot." Geez, thanks doc. It's great that direct to consumer diagnostics exist because it empowers people to take charge of their own care in a world where the professionals won't or can't help. As an added bonus, consumers get firm fixed prices when the business model doesn't assume insurance.

I would buy this product again.

I have been diagnosed with Sensitivities to food in the past but for several years I have had a lot of mucus in my throat and it's only gotten worse. So when I heard of Everly well I thought I would give them a try. I was surprised to find that I had some different sensitivities to foods then I suspected. And some I did suspect. I did gst some feedback about the foods and how they affect you, and encouraged an elimination diet. It would have been nice to have had more feedback, counseling and websites to learn about the foods and how your body rejects it. Overall very pleased.

Very impressed

I was a little skeptical but after getting a common cold and breaking out in a full blown rash and the doctor told me I have a cold and the virus caused my "allergy" to show and sent me on my way home. Thats when I ordered the test in hopes to get any answers. The whole process was so easy. I always had some idea that I may have some intolerance to dairy and sure enough when the test came back I had a high intolerance to dairy! I would defiantly recommend this test if you think you have an allergy or intolerance

Very interesting information

Very easy test to do. Non invasive and the feedback is helpful and informative. Interesting to know that the 17 foods that my body react to are also the ones I eat on a daily basis. I'm going to do a 30 trial of omitting these foods and see how I feel. I really like how they give ideas to use as substitutes.

Very Detailed

I was absolutely FLOORED by the depth of the results of my testing. Super simple to do and very insightful. I've already started an elimination diet for other health reasons, but I'll be adding in some items that this test uncovered that I would have never thought about!

Helped me confirm

I have been having stomach problems for over a year now and was unable to narrow anything down myself besides 2 things, the test confirmed both of those things were problems for me as well as a few others! Wish there were more than 2 lancets, was kind of hard to get enough blood.

Don't do while on a diet

I've been wanting to do the food sensitivities test for years. Finally did it!! Only problem is I am currently on an elimination diet! I've eliminated most foods that typically cause sensitivity. So my results showed nothing. I wish there had been a disclaimer, or if there is that I would have read it before I spent the money to do the test.

Quick results!

The test was easy (had to have my husband actually push the button on the finger pricker though... not because it was hard but I couldn't bring myself to do it!). I got the results much faster than the time frame given... the results are divided into sections from foods that caused the highest reactions first. I loved this and the way it was set up - I now know where to start my elimination. Knowing that yogurt and milk are absolute no-goes for me, and that there are 7 other items in the moderate reaction category just beneath will really help me.
