Great produce

The food sensitivity test was very simple to use and my results were very easy to read. The only complaint I have was that it is advertised on tv and website that results are given with 3 to 5 business days. However, when you read more into the details, the food sensitivity test takes up to 10 business days.

Valuable information!

I used to have a cast iron stomach and could literally eat anything, at any time, with no adverse effects. But now that I'm well into my 60's, I find myself more susceptible to post-menopausal weight gain, heartburn, congestion and post-nasal drip, intestinal distress, and itchy skin. For a while, I've suspected these issues might be due to some of the foods I'm eating, even though they've never caused me trouble before. I went to an allergist (licensed M.D.), and was tested for 52 different allergens, but not a single one popped up as being problematic. That's when I saw an ad for EverylyWell's "Food Sensitivity Test". I ordered it online the next day; the in-home testing process was extremely easy, and I received my report in a timely manner. The results surprised me... though I had no foods listed in the "High Reactivity" category, I had 7 in the "Moderate Reactivity" category and I ate noteworthy amounts of each and every one, sometimes on a daily basis. There were 11 more foods in the "Mild Reactivity" category, and I regularly consumed 8 of them. I now believe that my physical symptoms are the result of these 15 "offenders" having a CUMULATIVE effect on my body. I then noticed that a "Food Sensitivity Expansion Test" is also available; the foods included on that list might be viewed by the average person as being a bit more unusual or exotic, but they're a fairly regular part of my diet, so again, keeping the cumulative effect in mind, it made sense to order this test as well (still waiting for it to arrive). Once I receive the results of that test, I will take both reports and design a new elimination-based eating plan for myself to see if my symptoms improve (and hopefully, disappear).

Interesting as a novelty but does not test for enough items

I had some issues with the test initially and the customer service was 5 stars. That said, this was my first food sensitivity test and it came back with results I mostly expected. In order to make the test worth the price, I think EverlyWell needs to expand on their one and done report. For instance, why not offer tailored recipes based upon findings, etc.

Seems helpful.

Once i sent my sample in it took about 3 days to get the results which i thought was awesome. It told me about the foods that I'm most sensitive too which i kind of had a feeling about some but it was nice to get some clarity that my gastro doctor couldn't give me after numerous tests.

I am so thankful I tried this product!!!

I am using my results, alongside my nutritionist, to guide my elimination diet. We initially decided I needed to be gluten free based on my food log and symptoms. The results showed so many other problems, including wheat, bran, rye and several yeasts. I am so thankful I took the leap and tried this! Since eliminating troublesome foods, I feel amazing!

I would buy again

I bought this to help with dietary changes without one by one trials. I had so many sensitivities tho that I actually feel a bit depressed that there is very little I can eat without expecting discomfort. My docs are quick to suggest meds which don't help much and I am not sure where to go from here.

This test hit the nail on the head!

I have tummy problems. They aren't only caused by food. Ulcerative colitis has wreaked havoc on my day to day, but being a nursing mom, I refuse to take the medicine to subdue symptoms. I've always assumed dairy and gluten were triggers for me, but the elimination diet just takes too long for me to commit to see results. Everlywell produced a test that is super easy to do and I was outrageously surprised at how quickly I got results. (Mailed test on Monday and received results by Friday) Most of my high reactions posted were suspicions I've had, but some of my other suspicions weren't on my list of reactivity. (Garlic, tomatos, etc) If you're thinking you have any sensitivities, buy the test. It's worth every single penny. I wanted to add that I've eliminated all 21 foods I was reactive to. My sleep has changed for the better. My skin doesn't itch, flake, and the bumps on my arms and legs are gone! But, most importantly, my gastrointestinal issues that were consuming my life haven't showed up in the week I've eliminated these foods. 7 days! I haven't had 7 days of freedom since I was diagnosed 6 years ago.

A must purchase that results in a better quality of life!

I've been dealing with food sensitivity for years. After eating I would feel terrible and have symptoms like bloating, abdominal pain and having to run to the bathroom. While I wasn't able to prick my finger (due to passing out and anxiety) and I had to have a medical friend help; however, I'd do it again and again. My two highest sensitivity results were things I was eating every single day and maybe even multiple times. Without this test, there's no way I would have known what was causing me issues. Even with an elimination diet these wouldn't have ever been foods I would have cut out because I had no idea that I was sensitive to them. I highly recommend getting an Everlywell test. It's helped me to start cutting out things that have caused me issues for years. The downside is of course cutting out things that I love but I've really enjoyed learning other food alternatives and making the best decisions for my body.

10 out of 10-super easy and helpful

With a simple finger stick blood test, I was able to find out that I have a sensitivity to dairy, gluten products, bananas, oranges, 3 kinds of fish and green beans. These are all foods I eat regularly but it explains why at 30 my skin still hasn't grown out of it's acne phase. I recommended it to everyone in my family. I never would have thought that I'd have an issue with those foods. The only way it showed up is in my skin, and I bet an occasional headache. Maybe being really tired after a lot of bread but who isn't right?

Good concept, but unsure about how useful it was

I was really excited to use the food sensitivity test, but when I got my results back I wasn't totally floored. I supposed its a good thing I didn't have any food results in the top 2 levels of reactivity, but it definitely made it harder for me to actually know what to do with my lower two level results. The results describe each type of reaction, but it's not necessarily specific to me... and it also wasn't easy to understand what the levels of reaction even mean. I think this is a good concept in theory, but definitely was just a bit surprised at the lack of depth in the results pages. I was expecting a bit more, but maybe I had unrealistic expectations!
