Game changer

we purchased this to use this with our travel trailer while we boondock. Its a much more manageable size plus its so quiet. It totally runs our tiny travel trailer when we need to recharge all of our batteries and electronics. Easy start, light weight, love using propane.

Great so far

Just got the unit but so far very pleased. My first start was with gas. After running for a few minutes I started it with propane. Started on second pull. I like the details in the manual. Also purchased the cover which is great for storing the inverter.

Great, but missing something.

I only had it a day. It was very easy to set up. Watched the video about the 5 hour break in time and varying the loads. Which had me thinking why doesn't this have a simple hour meter to help with maintenance intervals. Also I didn't know before I ordered, but the parallel links to connect two generators together have square ends where other brands are standard round. I don't know if there is an adapter to work with my brother's non-champion generator. I'm using propane and it was easy to start. It is way quieter than my open frame generator.

Excellent Inverter/Generator for our camper

This inverter/generator is perfect for our little camper. We prefer to be self-sufficient when we camp and mostly depend upon our 400 watts solar energy to keep our 200 watts of Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries charged. This unit provides the power to charge our batteries when there's not enough solar energy due to clouds or tree coverage. Being able to power the unit with LP eliminates having to carry spillable gasoline and the odors associated with liquid fuels. This unit is only 39 lb and is very compact. It's easy to start and is quiet so you don't disturb your neighbors or other campers who maybe nearby. I highly recommend Champion Dual Fuel Inverter/Generators for all your power needs.

Light and quiet

Arrived well packaged. I tested using propane and it ran nice and smooth. I connected a Keurig coffee maker and it powered it just fine. I needed to prime it in choke mode about 8-10 times on very first start before it would fire up on the run setting. No complaints so far.

Champion is dependable!

I've had a Champion log splitter for 12 years that has been flawless. So when I needed a generator for dry camping and did some research, it was a no brainer to buy the champion. Great design, competitive price, and dependable product. Very quiet compared to the old generator I had before.

I would definitely buy again

The generator arrived well packaged and all the accessories were included. It was easy to get the generator prepped for initial start by using the included manual and the "Quick Start" guide. I purchased the generator after being impressed using a 2400 that my brother has. Its primary use is to give me power in an out-building that is wired but not connected to the power grid. This generator is quiet while powering the building (it sits outside the door) and has plenty of power for my uses. I also plan to use the generator to maintain freezers and refrigerators during power outages. I'm very impressed with its size and ease of use. I may buy another one to run in parallel with this one.

power up on first pull

Got my Champion 2500 dual fuel inverter after the last hurricane Beryl that left power outage for a week. This small generator is light weight, portable and reliable. It starts up after the first pull. Runs pretty quiet as compare to other generators.

Easy to use

Received the generator and shortly afterwards was able to load it with oil, connect the LP tank and was able to start it without any problems. It was placed outside the front of the house and it was so quiet that it couldn't be heard inside. My son loved it, so much that he had to get his own.

Love the Duel Fuel

I bought this generator for home use during a power outage. I believe it will provide enough power for my refrigerator and another small appliance without a problem. I do like the fact that I can use both gas and propane to power the generator depending on what I have available. It took me awhile to start the generator using propane until I realized that I needed to set the CHOKE a bit past the symbol to fully open the gas flow. Once I did this the generator started easily.
