It’s a great, reliable product. We bought this portable generator to go camping with our teardrop camper. It’s perfect for boondocking where you don’t have shore power. It runs the heater and the fans, and all the lights. It’s quiet and runs all night on a tank of fuel. The dual fuel ability is just great. We usually run ours on propane and it is smoke and smell free. It’s easy to handle and fits in our Jeep. We should have bought one years ago. Highly Redommended!

I purchased 3 of these generators for field use during disaster response. While I have yet to use them in the field, they offer an advantage in that they are dual fuel. The one downfall is that side has to be taken off for oil check and fill. This takes longer than the other generators that we use.

Simple easy to follow instructions to setup and get running in a short amount of time. I have never even bought a propane tank before to show you how novice I am to the generator game. I was worried about blowing myself up or causing a fire, but after reading through the safety info and running instructions provided in the manual, and then watching a couple youtube videos I now have no worries about using this generator. I also greatly appreciated that everything was included to get started (oil, funnel, propane connection).

Just got the unit but so far very pleased. My first start was with gas. After running for a few minutes I started it with propane. Started on second pull. I like the details in the manual. Also purchased the cover which is great for storing the inverter.

We have run this invertor for about 15 hours on both gasoline and LP gas. It has worked very well for our needs, charging a camper battery and running a power washer. It switched flawlessly between gasoline and LP gas while operating. The ability to use up all gasoline out of the tank and drain the little that was remaining out the carburetor is a great feature.

I use my 2500 for RV and powering power tools around yard. I bought 2 other makes and both were junk. Big name manufactures on first 2 units and neither one would start and run longer than 30 seconds one was a B&S unit and the other Westing***** model that would run but would fall off line and would fall of and die as soon as power was required beyond idle speeds. We bought this generator in preparation for winter storms and so glad we did. We ran it for an entire day and it had almost half a tank of fuel left. It stayed outside on the deck and could barely notice it running with the tv on or when we slept. It took a lot of stress away when the power went out. It came with oil and a funnel and also an attachment to run to a propane tank. All we had to do was fill it up and it ran great!

I use this dual fuel inverter generator on a sailboat - it is LIGHT, QUIET, and well designed. The packaging is excellent and customer support seems very available and helpful. A big plus for me is to use the propane tanks on the boat so that I don't have to worry about storing gasoline in the lazarette.

Right now I give it a 2... Not due to the product, but due to the frustration with getting it running for the first time. My intention is to run it exclusively on LP as a portable RV generator. A friend and I followed the instructions to the letter. No go after pulling and checking for an hour. Next day, new faces same result. After sitting waiting for a human to answer for over 30 minutes, the person said you need to prime pull 7-10 times, not what the instructions say. Back to try again with a 3rd team. Ten prime pulls, 10 start pulls, nothing. 4th team, one of whom is an auto mechanic.. 20 prime pulls, 2 start pulls, and off she went. Priming for LP seems to be the issue here. Hopefully it improves in the spring when things warm up and the unit gets broken in. But truthfully, I have lost faith in it and may just cut my losses and demand a refund.

I bought this inverter on a black friday day sale about a year ago. I didn't need an inverter but we have a RV and camp during the summer so I figured it couldn't hurt to have it, plus the price was great for a small inverter (about half the price of the red competitor). Anyway, we had major winds and wide spread power outages in the PNW and this little device was a life saver. The fact that it could run on propane and gasoline also gave us choice as refilling propane became a challenge during the power outages due to the spike in demand. Overall, this unit performed great. I did end up changing the oil a few times during operation but the design on the unit made all the maintenance super easy and took less than 30 minutes to check everything. I'd highly recommend this unit if your looking for a small unit that is efficient, easy to run and easy to maintain. I'm really glad we had this unit on hand during our power outages.
