But I did make some cookies with it to try and the cookies were good. So I was satisfied definitely for baking, but not for my coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this as a healthier alternative to sugar and had actually just ran out of sugar so I used it to make some homemade lemon bars and they unfortunately turned out really bad. It seemed like the super clumped together in a weird layer of the bars while it baked and the bars tasted really bland and not sweet/tart like they should. I think this would be better used as a coffee/tea sweetener instead of baking.

I put the white in a from scratch cake.. in my unsweetened iced tea and in my sliced strawberries for strawberry shortcake ! we couldnt tell the difference and were a tough house to please..3 adults a 14 yr old a 5 yr old and a 1 year old ! I used to brown in my baked beans on memorial day and my home made bbq sauce .. not one complaint.. all rave reviews !! from taste to smell and texture.. we could not tell it wasnt sugar and brown sugar.. we will b using this from now on. it's a healthier choice that actually tastes great. I cant say no to that !

So I have been looking for a more natural sweetener that satisfy my sugar cravings without a bunch of calories and that does not have a bad aftertaste. Well, this is it! I can put this in my tea, my oatmeal and even baked cookies with this and you would not know that I did not use plain old sugar. And it tastes so good! And it is zero calories added! Now that is a win-win in my book.
