This is the closest thing to actual sugar in my opinion. I don't think anyone will be fooled that it is sugar. I think if I snuck it in your coffee without you knowing you would go with it and maybe think your tastebuds are a bit off or I didn't put enough . It has a lighter flavor imo. Still I think it is close enough that you can forgive that it is not a one to one taste.

I have had to reduce my sugar intake, and for me, substituting Truvia granulated for sugar was perfect. I was using 4 tbsp of regular sugar in my coffee, now I'm using 2 tbsp of the Truvia granulated, and I can not tell the difference. It truly does taste like regular sugar. I love it!!!

I ha bd e tried all the substitute sugars out there and ended up using sugar in the raw until I found trivia. I carry it in my purse because not every coffee place carries it! I can even put it on strawberries and be ok with it. Thank you.

Personally I cant eat really sweet things and this taste like regular sugar with no after taste and doesnt make me feel sick after eating. Definitely try!

I am so happy that Truvia is made from the stevia plant, tastes great, and has had no scary news reports! I use stevia sweetener in my coffee every day, and it is also great in homemade lemonade and cherry limeade. Indulge without worry!

The ability to use this sweetener just like sugar in all my recipes is truly the greatest because you do not have to work at converting the sweetener to sugar ratio like other no calorie sweeteners. I actually like the taste better than sugar. It’s very affordable as well. No more little packets for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to utilize one of the recipes on the Trivia bag for Chocolate chip cookies with my own spin & combo flavored chips. I found that the cookie dough appeared drier than usual dough so I ended up adding egg yolk which added additional moisture in the way of fat The cookies overall didn't taste bad but just not like regular baked goods. The extra egg may of helped some with the color but you don't get that browning or flavor that comes from regular or brown sugar. I generally like a combo of regular sugar and light brown sugar in my baked goods. The Trivia recipe did call for a combo of both types. Also my family commented that the blend of add INS for Chocolate chips also helped the overall cookie. The recipe did use a lot of vanilla 1 Tablespoon which also helped with the flavor. I think that I might experiment more with a combo of Trivia and regular sugar blend.
